Beer was fantastic, the food was great and our bartender was perfect! Attentive and helpful but not overbearing and so sweet!

Soon as I came in, Wynn was very welcoming, knew his beers and knew actually what I would enjoy! Julia and David were both very attentive & helpful as well and I felt very at home. I will definitely come back again.

Amazing beer options. They have a food truck outside which you can order from and get food to your table. The smoked brisket pizza was delicious.

Great service/ Great atmosphere. Quick stop, when I was in the area. Had a few beers at the bar. Multiple people were checking on us and answering questions. Helping with beer choices and offering samples. Really enjoyed the beer and the service. Will definitely be back.

Our first experience was one that will bring us back. Welcoming and friendly environment. David was helpful in giving us the lay of the land, serving us with enthusiasm, and engaging in friendly banter throughout. Enjoyed the taster and the food!

Great brews and knowledgeable staff/servers. They had quite a few high abv options (mostly IPAs). The food truck in the outside patio was very good...went with the fig and prosciutto flat bread (yummy). You can tell that servers/staff/cooks take pride in this establishment. I'd definitely recommend stopping by for a brew (or two) if you're in the area shopping.

Great place to sit outside and have a drink and meal. FYI, Food is served in Styrofoam containers and plastic forks. Waitress for drinks counter service for food. Very Casual.

As someone who has genuinely enjoyed Dust Bowl’s Turlock and Monterey locations—both exceptional in service, atmosphere, and consistency—I was looking forward to visiting the Livermore taproom. What I experienced instead was a poorly managed location that felt disconnected from the standards Dust Bowl is known for.

1. Arbitrary and Poorly Explained Policy on Beer Orders
When I tried to order two beers, I was told I had to finish one before ordering another. This felt unnecessarily controlling. When I asked who set the rule or why it existed, the waitress couldn’t provide a clear answer. That lack of transparency suggests poor training or a policy no one understands. Either way, it left a bad impression.

2. Misrepresented Pour Size
My lager came in a tulip glass—not a standard pint—which immediately raised questions. I measured it myself: just under 13 ounces. When I asked, the server claimed it was a 16oz pour. I followed up with a phone call and received the same answer. This isn’t just a mistake—it’s either misinformation or misrepresentation. Neither reflects well on your brand.

Despite the frustrating experience, I still left a 30% tip—not because the service earned it, but because I believe in taking the high road. That said, I won’t be returning to this location. Livermore is doing a disservice to what Dust Bowl represents. If this is how the brand is being presented there, it needs immediate attention.

I've been here numerous times. Sat at the bar and had great service. Today (Sat 6/28) the bar was full - and full of noisy children - so I decided to sit outside. Was ignored by waitstaff for 15 minutes. When I finally established eye contact with the young woman I was told that someone would be with me soon. What? How about you? Is this not your job?
Very dissatisfied. Will not be back.

Great vibes, great beers, solid food. We ate out on the patio and enjoyed the wide selection of local brews. The IPA I chose had delicious hints of pineapple. Food was prepared in a food truck parked on the property. The brisket burger and flatbread pizzas were solid though a bit overpriced.

Service was a bit mixed. Two of our servers weren't very friendly or helpful. Hence the 4 stars rather than 5.

Good place for beer, camp fire experience and food

We were there for a private party and the food and service were exceptional. The only negative was that they didn't offer a corkage fee.

This place is good to hangout with friends and family . You order from a food truck outside and have the choice to sit inside or outside near the many fireplaces provided.
