Best burritos in Livermore! We eat in, take out, or get delivery. All good! Nicely decorated inside. The back yard seating is better than average for a taqueria and is right on the old golf course which is nice. But the food is what stands out. I do think the steak is much better than the chicken. Chicken burritos are average to above average. Asada burritos and shrimp burritos are amazing when you get them with all the fixings.

Stopped by to have dinner, and decided to leave. The atmosphere is not what I expected. The staffed seamed as they didn’t want to be there. Cashier with long acrylics eating food at the register sucking on her fingers telling us to get a menu and sit and come up to place order, tables and floors dirty. The staff was not friendly at all. We ended up leaving will not come back

The three tacos I ordered to eat in house, with carne asada, chicken and carnitas, were about the very best tacos I have EVER eaten and outstanding at $3.75 each. Just brimming with delicious ingredients meats, whole beans, salads, cooked onions and radishes and salsa. Not very spicy but I love heat and there was plenty of different kinds of habanero sauce to chili things up. Not perceptibly oversalted. I went away with a happy tummy for sure, or was that the Modelo? I just wish the cutlery wasn't plastic but I guess the metal forks have legs. Recommend if you like friendly non-gringo taquerias with local ambience and excellent food!

This place really is disappointing!!..far from being authentic Mexican food..the service was ridiculous..the food was a joke..did you not think I know what enchiladas are?..you call what you served us authentic Mexican food..you threw some tomato sauce on my tortillas and hid the sauce with cheese and called them enchiladas!!..unbelievable but expected from poor management when the $ only matters...be advised do mor eat here!!

I had the carne asada super burrito and it is fantastic. Very relaxing vibe at El Chaparrito. The service is very quick. The carrot juice was super delicious as well. I fully recommend this taqueria for lunch if you are in Livermore. A+.
