We met Flaca at the Altamont Street Fair and were immediately drawn in by her warm personality and her amazing chips and salsas. Everything about her setup felt genuine — from the smile on her face to the quality of products she was offering. It was clear this was a local business built on passion and love for good food. She has a storefront downtown Livermore and has been in business 14 years.
We took home her chips, guacamole, cauliflower ceviche, and mango salsa — Each item was a hit. The guac was fresh and perfectly seasoned, the mango salsa had just the right balance of sweet and spice, and the cauliflower ceviche was creative and so good. The thicker tortilla chips had a great home-made crunchy taste.
All the products we brought home were tummy friendly - all made with wholesome ingredients that taste great. It’s clear that Flaca puts a lot of love and fresh tasty ingredients into what she makes.
Flaca herself was personable, friendly, and customer-focused. We felt great supporting someone who truly cares about her community and her product. This is exactly the kind of local business we love to support — great energy, great people, and amazing foods .

Such a Livermore gem!! Flaca’s chips and salsa are a staple for every gathering we have … and what I bring if going to a party (especially now that it is football season). Love the tamales, which have (oddly?) turned into a breakfast staple for me. This time of year, the picadillo is one of our favorites. Also great for breakfast with a fried egg and sliced avocado. Dinner favorite- carnitas nachos.

Warning: The chips and salsas are addictive! My husband and I buy a couple whenever we get a chance and we would finish them in one sitting! Love the mango salsa. Only thing is it’s seasonal and limited. Love the cinnamon sweet chips too! Everything is fresh and delicious!

Flaca’s has the absolute best salsa I have ever had. I love things spicy so I get the hot and it never disappoints. I get the mild for my hubby and kids. Pair it with the best chips and you have an incredibly addictive combination. I can’t leave a review without also including their flacamole that comes with a seed in it to keep it fresh. Another family favorite is the green Chile tamale. My 7 year old daughter can’t get enough of them. If I had to choose one word for Flaca’s it would be QUALITY. This family owned business also generously donates to local schools and provides community events like Easter bunny pictures. Thank you Flaca’s, I can’t imagine my life without you in it. ❤️

I’ve always loved the chips, guac and salsa, but I’ve now discovered the vegan spinach and mushroom tamales. Oh my, they’re the BEST! Oftentimes at other places they can be dry with not enough veggies or the veggies have no flavor. These were amazing and even better topped with the awesome salsa. Thank you Flacas!

I’m not one to share bad reviews - but i just had one of the worst customer service experiences! Approximately around 5:55 pm today 10/14/21 the cashier who checked us out lacked a sense of empathy. A bag of chips fell from the counter and we essentially grabbed another bag, because of course why would we want cracked chips? As we got another bag- the cashier proceeded by telling us- “oops sorry, you will still have to pay for those chips even if they fell from the counter.” This didn’t set well with me and we asked to speak to the manager- who was Flaca herself. The cashier to be Flaca explained to her that we dropped the chips and in turn have to pay for them. The cashier had so much attitude that it was getting extremely annoying. Such shame that due to a bag of chips- they lost a patron who has visited quite frequently. I understand they are a family run business- but the more they should be chasing loyalty. 0 stars- never coming back! Don't waste your time! You'll get better food with better customer service elsewhere!
