We had the steak. It was good, not great. At $50 a plate, it should be great. Tis a nice place, just rather spendy for what you get.

We had only been to the old location but really liked it ao thought we'd try the new one. Some of the art work was still from Anita's but they added some italian pictures. It wasn't too busy when we walked in but did get busier. There were 2 servers and 1 busboy, Not sure how many cooks. The service was slow but I think they need more help. We finally got our food, but had to ask 5 minutes later for parmesan cheese since the server never came back. The food was good but a bit pricy for pasta. It seemed like everyone waited a while for their food. The people are very nice and the food is good but not sure we will go back.

Fratello’s Livermore isn't just another Italian restaurant; it's a celebration of fresh, flavorful food served with genuine hospitality. I've had the pleasure of dining there twice and using their catering service for a party, and each experience has been exceptional. The menu is a love letter to Italian’s. From perfectly al dente pasta dishes to succulent seafood specialties, every bite is a testament to quality ingredients and culinary expertise. Everything is bursting with flavor, and the portions are generous without being overwhelming. The staff at is as delightful as the food. They're attentive without being intrusive, offering recommendations and making sure your dining experience is seamless. They genuinely seem passionate about the food and the restaurant, which adds a personal touch to the whole experience. What truly sets them apart is their dedication to fresh, high-quality ingredients. You can taste the difference in every dish. Here's the surprising part: despite the exceptional quality, the prices remain very reasonable. You get incredible value for your money, making it a perfect spot for any occasion, from a casual weeknight dinner to a special celebration.Their commitment to quality extends to their catering service as well. I recently used them for a party, and the food was a huge hit with everyone. They were easy to work with, offering a variety of options to fit our needs. In short, if you're looking for authentic Italian food, exceptional service, and a commitment to quality, look no further than the Livermore location. You won't be disappointed. I met Omar, the owner. He’s experienced and takes is profession seriously.

The food was exceptional! And the service was fantastic. The atmosphere is very nice... it's a great place for an Italian dinner with easy parking and a quick short walk from downtown Livermore.

Love this place. They make their own bread which is fantastic and their food is excellent. Service is impeccable.

The food was seriously incredible! Top 3 Italian dishes I've had, and I go to a lot of Italian places. I read that the atmosphere could use some work, and I agree. The lighting, vibe, music, interior design, etc. was all just a little odd and off. HOWEVER, if I had to choose between great atmosphere and great food, I'll choose great food any day.

The veal dishes at this restaurant are the best I have ever had. No other Italian restaurants compare. Only in New York would you find something comparable
Wanted a tasty meal in a relaxed environment. We are regulars and rarely use a menu. We arrived about 15 minutes after the restaurant opened and were in and out in a reasonable amount of time. Our meal was hot and tasty and the ? was good.
Parking: Friday night at 5:15 when we arrived parking was available easily. When we left about 6:45 there was less parking, but still some spots reasonably nearby.

Had reservations for 5:00, showed up 15 minutes early and we were told we would have to wait. Which would have been fine if they were busy, but only three tables were occupied. It took 50 minutes to get our food, which is ridiculous since, again, they were not busy. Hopefully, they get better service, because the food was really good.

Bad food. We ordered Bruschetta and it was just some chopped up tomatoes on dry bread.

Well, unfortunately I hated the food here. I am a pretty accomplished cook and have been to Italy twice. Now, I am not comparing their food to Italy but the food we had was barely edible. We had the Bruschetta, which was terrible, very salty with barely, if any olive oil and almost no balsamic. But it was loaded with capers (which I don't care for) and arugula. We also tried the shrimp as an appetizer. Had a tough time getting it out of its shell and did not taste fresh. I had the Rigatoni with Prosciutto in a Vodka Cream sauce. I am sorry to say that a Stouffer frozen entree was better than this. The pasta was dry, no flavor in the barely there sauce. I only ate a small portion, brought the rest home and tossed it. My friend had the fish which they said was "okay" they also only ate half and took the rest home. The service was good, but the decor and the ambiance lacked. I guess the first warning sign should have been Italian food by Hildago....

Fam, I’d love to see you succeed! The service tonight ran at a pace slower than a glacier … seems like y’all need some help in the kitchen. The food was decent but not memorable. Consider making some changes in the dining room because currently it is like an echo chamber.
