Oh gosh it felt like a five star restaurant. Love the atmosphere servers are amazing, and love the Italian music playing you can hear and see the servers dancing and singing to the lyrics. Drinks are amazing, very casual. Tell them to slow or speed the service up at you timing. We suggest to slow it down and enjoy. We not once picked up our phones. We need to slow down and not be so rushed in life enjoy where you are. It's our go to place when craving good healthy Italian food. The food alone is amazing; but it's such a great atmosphere, we prefer indoors to watch the staff. However, outside is enjoyable, Livermore has such great weather compared to the Valley.

It's a busy restaurant lots of people sitting indoors and outdoors. Waiters going every which way. Food was delicious I had the branzi ( sauce was a light buttery lemon sauce) my husband had the salmon. All was good.

It was a special anniversary dinner so we wanted everything to be perfect. We sat down and no one addressed other than pouring water for 15 minutes (unacceptable). Finally we got to order wine and an appetizer. The wine came 10 minutes later. The food was excellent but the service lacked significantly. I believe Gino, our waiter, was new but he shouldn't be out there by himself serving customers yet.

First let me say I loved our server. The kitchen staff didn't get our order correct, but, the food was good. The seating is not handicap friendly. The tables are crowded together; very difficult for a wheelchair. The uneven cobblestone is a trip hazard. The manager acted as if my question about accommodation was a burden and something unheard of. I do come more for the ambiance and my family enjoys it. It's not my 1st choice of Locanda locations; but, it's not bad.

We waited over an hour for our food. That's not all. When the server took our Order it was very loud and when he asked me a question I could not hear and answered incorrectly and he got annoyed and curt with me. They brought bread to the table with a spread. We assumed it was standard as we did not order it. Because the food took so long they gave us another bread and said it was the on the house! I had assumed the first one was standard and they charged us $18. After all that, they added a 20% gratuity for a table of 6. We disputed the tip and they took it off. I have been to two other Locanda locations and they were fantastic. I hope this one was just having a bad day.
Food was mediocre and the service was the worst. Slow, not attentive at all. Waiting 20mins for one drink and they weren't even busy.

my pizza salad was delicious. We ordered the olive tapenade and the did not taste good. We asked for olive oil on the side to eat with our bread and when the waitress saw that we did not eat any of the tapenade. She did not ask if there was an issue with it. The real issue came when we received the bill and the wine was charged at full price when we have been handed a happy hour menu stating it would be much less. When we brought this to the waitresses attention, she simply said well it's not happy hour. I will not be back. I do not like feeling I was taken advantage of.
