We had a wonderful dinner at Locanda Wine Bar. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious. Two of us ordered the sea bass and two of us ordered the ravioli. They were both very good. We shared the tiramisu dessert which was excellent.
One of our favourite places to go in Livermore. We can usually get a seat at the bar which we enjoy. Great food always. The staff always super friendly. We have also enjoyed the Pleasanton and Danville location and are looking forward to trying Brentwood next.

Excellent restaurant. Friendly service staff. Very attentive. Excellent wine choices, appetizers (try the eggplant flower bites with yummy marinara sauce). Fun to sit at bar or outside patio or tables. Had branzino and gnocchi as mains and both plates licked clean. Easy place to relax after a day at wineries. Ample parking along First Street. Definitely coming back!

We had a 6:15pm rez in order to make an 8pm show across the street. This place, and many on first street were PACKED. We were seated promptly and drinks came quickly. Then we ordered. Then waited. And waited and waited. Our Italian server came by thanking us for our patience. But it was OVER AN HOUR for our food to come, at about 7:35pm. We rush eat our food (it was very good but maybe a LITTLE pricey) and did make it to the show, but the fact they were very busy on this Friday night put a damper on things. Suggest going week-day nights for a more leisurely experience.
We knew they were opening a location in our neighborhood so we were excited to try them while we were in Livermore. They didn’t disappoint. Staff was very friendly. Looking forward to visiting our local restaurant.

We had a 6:30 reservation on a Sunday evening. We were immediately seated. The waiter was very helpful and prompt. When we first went in it was quite noisy, but before left the noisy people had left. I had the salmon entree and it was just perfect. This is one of my ways in judging the food in a restaurant---order the fish to see if it is fresh. This salmon was very fresh and perfectly prepared. My husband ordered the special, a rib-eye steak. It too was prepared perfectly to his request. The vegetables on both orders were excellent. They were not over-cooked which sometimes happens. I ordered a vodka gimlet and my husband a martini. They were very generous servings!!!! Really enjoyed! Will definitely return.
