Great wine and winery!!! Highly recommend the Petit Sirah and the Chardonnay. Seriously, the Petit Sirah is special! The winery itself has a rustic charmed with amazing people. So in summary... great wine, great people, great setting... Highly recommend a visit.

Our party just showed up on 11/15 and the manager shows up within 15 minutes being rude and pushy to buy like 6 bottles. Leaving not worth staying. Rachel was the worst. We left. Never going back. There are alot of other wineries do yourself a favor and find another one

Rachel and her staff are standouts in the winery industry! For us it was important that our daughter's special birthday event be special and without unexpected negative results. The staff at Mitchell Katz met and exceeded all our expectations. They are true examples of excellent customer service with a smile. The wine is very good, and reasonably priced with daily specials. The venue is a comfortable country setting amongst the vines. The combination of all these was a success for our family. Rachel and the Mitchell-Katz staff certainly deserve a five star rating! David

I’ve always liked Mitchell Katz because it feels real. The wines speak for themselves — steady, well-made, and true to Livermore. No frills, no gimmicks, just solid bottles you can always count on.
But what makes the place stand out even more is the crew. Michael, Rachel, and Felix are just a few of the rockstars. They’re the kind of people who make you feel welcome the second you walk in, and they know their stuff without ever making it complicated. You can tell they care about the wine, but also about the people drinking it.

Been to majority of the wineries in LV and this is one of the best. I am very picky about my wine and this is my one and only wine club membership. Really good quality, affordable wines. Bold and fruit forward. Tastings are $20 for 5-6 wines, always a variety of red and whites. Most bottles are $30-50. Staff are all really nice and knowledgeable. They have both indoor and outdoor seating depending on weather. They don't sell food but allow you to bring your own. Will likely be a member for life lol

We love this place! The property is beautiful with lots of seating options. Rachel and the staff are wonderful. We are long time members! They have events like summer concerts. And did I mention their wines are delicious. Thanks for a great Father’s Day afternoon.

Visited this winery for this first time this weekend on Mother’s Day. My daughter made reservations for us on the patio. We had a lovely view and the service was great. Also a nice musical duo in the background. We tried a few different wines that were very good and took home a bottle. Really a nice experience.

Visited Mitchell Katz Winery in Livermore, CA and had an awesome time. Super relaxed atmosphere with great views and friendly staff. I’m no wine expert, but everything I tasted was really good—especially the Fat Boy Red, which totally lived up to the hype. This Livermore Valley winery is perfect if you want a fun, low-key wine tasting without all the fuss. Highly recommend stopping by if you're exploring wineries near the Bay Area.

After our hike at the lake, we found this lovely winery. It was a sunny day, and it was nice to sit in the garden with our dog enjoying our tasting. Marcellus poured our wines, and he took the time to chat with us, and gave us a good explanation of the wines and of the vineyard. Mitchell's son, Wesley, was also helpful and a delight to talk to. In the end, it was Wesley's blend that won us over! We highly recommend this vineyard with it's excellent wines and lovely hosts....memorable!

My friend invited me for Valentine’s Day’s. The place is peaceful and clean. You are allowed to bring your own food which is a great. The wines were all great and the person who help us was amazing. Looking forward to go back soon. I recommend it 100%. The drive there had some nice scenery and the place itself is beautiful.
