Felt like I was in a restaurant in Myanmar, the food tasted authentic Myanmar food. Nan Gyi Tok and Mohingar are good for breakfast. The owner was very friendly too.

We had a delicious lunch of chicken noodle soup, samosas, and a tea leaf salad. Delicious food and very friendly, helpful staff. It was quiet on our visit as it was a Monday afternoon, so can’t comment on much overall atmosphere. We’ll certainly be back on other days to try more of the menu!

We came for dinner on a week night and the place wasn't busy at all. Food was served up hot and fresh. Parata with coconut chicken curry was flavorful with quite a turmeric forward profile. The veggie mapo tofu exceeded my expectations: super garlicky, tasty, and hearty.

We came for Tuesday lunch. Nice decor on the wall and nice ambience. Not too dark, not too bright. Almost fully occupied. We ordered pig ears salad, fried pork rice vermicelli, crispy mushroom fried and pork mango pickle. It does not take long for the dishes. All are very delicious and reasonable price.Service is good and attentive.I ordered tamarind juice and pretty good.Highly recommended.

The food is absolutely fabulous, flavors I haven't tasted before so satisfied can't wait to go back. The only thing I can say that was not fun for me was eating off of a paper plate.

The only food item that we enjoyed was the Tea Leaf salad. Everything else was just ok. Several main dishes were lacking flavor and did not have that authentic Burmese flavor. The service was just ok too. We were a group of five and all of our dishes came out with the exception of one. The last main dish came out when we were done with the other four dishes. The only excuse we received was that the kitchen was very busy. But when we looked around the dining room, there was only one other table occupied with a party of three! Definitely not coming here again, knowing that there are better Burmese restaurants around.

We went there because of the extensive Vegan menu. The Pork Garlic Noodle dish #14 was served luke warm, bland tasting and unremarkable. The vegan items as well were unremarkable. We will not return. Flatware, paper napkin and paper plates at a sit down restaurant? Sticky table, gross looking condiment jar...

Had a amazing experience. It was on first time having Burmese food. The waiter helped us select our food. Everything we had was so flavorful. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to try something unique and delicious. We will be back.Dietary restrictions: They have plenty of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options.

We loved Shwe Myanmar Burmese. It was excellent. In my opinion, the Best Burmese food in the Bay Area. I have eaten at 5-6 places including Ruby Rangoon, Minglaba, Burma Burma, Burma Experience and couple of others.Firstly, we are vegetarians and like spicy food. Luckily for us they, have an extensive Vegan Menu!We ordered several dishes to get a feel for the place. They were able to customize the spicy level to our liking. We ordered the Tea Leaf Salad which was excellent, the best we have had. Also ordered the Sampler with Samosas, Veg fritters. We also ordered the Roti Paratha appetizer. Loved the Curry that came along with it and good portion size.We also ordered Pad Thai, Fried Rice Noodle dish with vegetables and Okra-Potato in tomato curry w/ Rice. All the dishes were excellent, nice portions and we had a decent amount of leftovers for another meal at home.Service was very nice and will definitely visit them again with more friends and family!Vegetarian options: They have an extensive Vegan Menu!Dietary restrictions: They have an extensive Vegan Menu!
