Sandwiches here always hit the spot for me. I was in the area so I decided to drop by and get my usual sandwich. The girl that was handling the cashier took my order perfectly and repeated it back to me to ensure she got everything right. There was only one person ahead of me so I didn't think it would take too long but I was there for 15-20 minutes before getting my order. Mind you, there were two people making sandwiches. Order was worth the wait and everything came out great but I was wondering why it took so long when it was just one person ahead of me. Thankfully I came in on Saturday so I wasn't on my lunch break but still! At any rate, I'll be back because their sandwiches always hit the spot but make sure to get there earlier in case it takes awhile again.

Every time something is wrong with our order. As the prices keep going up and the quality goes down, it gets more and more difficult justifying eating out, especially here. The food is generally good but not consistent, and I've gotten tired of checking our to-go order to verify everything is there and asking for it to be fixed despite the order being very clear. What will it be the next time? Forgot the extra bread we paid for but didn't get? Didn't get the toppings right? Forgot the dressing for the salad?

During my initial visit to Sourdough & Co, I had a positive experience and enjoyed the French Dip. However, the second time for takeout was disappointing as the food was cold and mediocre. Despite a third attempt, the overall quality was terrible. The staff seemed preoccupied with their cell phones, and the entire restaurant needed thorough cleaning. Despite these concerns, we decided to give it another chance due to hunger. Unfortunately, my first bite revealed rancid meat, prompting me to refrain from consuming the rest. Upon notifying the cashier, she offered to replace the dish. However, given the spoiled nature, we requested a refund for the uneaten sandwich. Regrettably, they claimed it wasn't allowed, and even speaking to the manager yielded no refund approval. Although I didn't experience severe illness beyond initial nausea, the potential health risks for others are concerning.

We have been very pleased with the other sour dough and co locations around the east bay and frequently place the same sandwich order. Today, we tried the Livermore location and ordered our usual - pastrami with horseradish. We are no strangers to spice, and one of our sandwiches was made with an inedible amount of horseradish. The other was not great but manageable, so I called for a refund for one sandwich only, as it can't be consumed, and was told that wasn't possible. We were told to come back for a remake, which wasn't possible for us nor worth the time as both sandwiches were disappointing. We will continue to drive the few extra miles to the dublin, pleasanton, or San Ramon locations where we have never had a problem with our order or service. Bummer that the Livermore location isn't up to par.

So I thought the food here has been pretty good, although, over priced. Ate here about a month ago and bought two sandwiches, which were really good, with good size portions of toppings and meat. On the next visit we bought Chili and Clam Chowder in breads bowls. The Chile was surprising really good and actually tasted home made. The Clam Chowder was also really good. We got two meals out of it each, so at their price point of $10 each was not bad. Will definitely go back and try something else.

(Livermore)Ordered sandwich and soup.Food preparer left to use restroom, returned to kitchen and didn't wash hands.French dip (roast beef) tasted off. Asked for refund for just the sandwich. Told they don't give refunds after the three employees gathered in front of me to discuss.I was offered another sandwich after they all watched me throw the entire sandwich away. I don't take more food from someone who doesn't wash their hands, and I should not have to explain that to get a refund for food that tasted bad. I eat out 4-6 times a week - every week. I have been here 5 times since it opened. Once a business confirms they don't get customer service - I never return. I usually vote with my money, but the lack of hand washing requires a public service announcement.

First time at this location. Roast beef sandwich was very good. Creamy tomato in a bread bowl was delicious. Very friendly staff. I think the prices are very competitive. Prices for any meal out is high these days. Attractive and clean dining area.

I got the French Dip Sandwich. The bread was very good, might be part of the sandwich. The meat was little on the shady side and the price for the sandwich is little over priced.

The food was alright but nothing like they advertise it to be. There's hardly any meat in any of the sandwiches (we ordered 3 different sandwiches) and all of them were very underwhelming. The bread was delicious, but that's all they had going for them. It's definitely not a place that I would be recommending to friends.

Good sandwich and taste but for $15-20 a sandwich you don't get much. Our sourdough sandwiches were quite small!I'd recommend you head to Americano instead.

I had a sandwich there and it was great- fresh and got it fast. All the sourdough and co are pricey- but the quality is better than other sandwich places. The staff was friendly. Sandwich what I ordered.I have been to 5 sourdough and company locations and this was a top pick. The one in Dublin has repeatedly given me a smaller sandwich than I ordered and were slow and the staff rude.

What a waste of time and will never go back. Once you cross the line of not caring about your food or the customer, you've proven I don't need to support your business and Livermore does listen.I ordered what I thought was a cold roast beef sandwich with mayo and received a hot sandwich. Went up to the counter to see where on the menu I overlooked it being toasted or hot and found nothing listed. Asked and was told some are hot and some are cold but there's nowhere it shows. I'd be ok if they asked if they could fix things but stone silence.Sadly for these sandwich makers, It's common knowledge many (if not all) will not eat mayo on a hot sandwich. This comes after owning a sandwich shop for many years and this is why I left the sandwich untouched on the table. Figured someone would at least ask but no. There was much discussion about it sitting uneaten. The manager never even inquired what was wrong and why it got thrown in the trash. Simple fact was he made the sandwich.I have a very hard time even thinking about going back when there was no concern for its customers or if they enjoyed the meal. The stone silence was shocking at the least and nobody there needs to be in food services.
