True gem we bike rode into looking for a break from bike riding! The owner was incredibly welcoming from the moment we stepped foot!! Hands down wonderful service, perfect sparking wine in a cozy environment! Wine prices are unbeatable.

Tenuta Vineyards is a gem of a winery in Livermore Valley. Every wine tasted was excellent, making us want more. High marks for their Chardonney and Granche Port. Their host Rich gave excellent service and was very accommodating. Great family friendly winery!

We reserved a tasting for my wife's birthday, for 20 people. Staff was friendly and excellent host. We definitely will be returning!

I love the variety of wines available. I believe they have at least thirty wines, from filtered to unfiltered. There is no doubt you will find a few different ones to enjoy.

It's a very nice winery. Secluded and quiet. They have a lot of outside seating and a decent amount inside. Friendly service. The surroundings are gorgeous.

Very nice and friendly owner, but my god, the wines are terrible. Worst winery I've ever been to. Since the tastings were so cheap at $10 for 5 wines of your choice, we tried all the wines on the menu. There was a nice variety, but no one liked any of it. We should have just started with a couple tastings first. We pretty much never waste alcohol, but the wines were so bad we left a good amount. They all lacked complexity and didn't smell great either. Tasted like cheap wine. A lot of the wines tasted similar too. They have both indoor and outdoor seating

If your goal is to get wasted for cheap and you have low standards for wine, then this is the place for you. If you know your wine, I wouldn't even bother

Are you kidding me? Literally the most amazing, friendly people I’ve ever met. Thanks so much Rich!

My boyfriend and I had an absolutely phenomenal time here. California wine is both an interesting and competitive scene. Above all, we (Californians) want to try excellent wine and aren’t willing to compromise on this (at least I am not!). But it’s refreshing when you can find that elite quality at a place that is very relaxed, comfortable, and like home.

I am happy to say we found this at Tenuta. To call it a “hidden gem” is an understatement. I appreciated the very knowledgeable staff who understood the winemaking process and obviously made deliberate choices with their grape selections for their winemaking, and for our tastings. But again, in a completely relaxed way. It’s clear everyone there loves what they do, and above all, have great wine to share with their patrons. I’m looking forward to going back this season!

I really wanted to like this place, because it is cute and has a very friendly host. However, the red wines were absolutely atrocious. I’ve truly never tasted such bad wine. And to top it all off, my husband and I started getting severe stomach pains a few hours later, which led to multiple days of horrible GI upset. This leads me to wonder if something in their wine barrels is turning the wine bad. There needs to be some sort of quality control to prevent pouring these bad wines for guests. Do your taste buds and stomach a favor by avoiding this winery.

Hospitality is on point. Rich is an amicable host whose personality and accomodations enrich the experience, unfortunately his positive traits are sabotaged by a lack of attention to hygeine. The wine glasses are improperly wiped after each visit; I now know what shade of lipstick the previous patron preferred. Serving plates are coated in a layer of dust, and disposable utensils are reused. Fruit flies infest the bar area and the windows, at least we know the wines made here are made from real grapes. This place is not a hidden gem, but rather carbon that couldn't become diamond. You get what you pay for I guess.

The wine tasting was a fun experience trying different flavors. The food was good too, especially the freshly made pizza. The co-owner was very friendly, treating each customer as a valuable guest, helping them with wine purchases. The outdoor setting for our afternoon wine tasting was very bucolic, with a beautiful view of the vineyard.I enjoyed the visit and look forward to going back again.
