Tequila's Taqueria Livermore Ave

A friend introduced us to this place years ago and we’ve since moved to the other side of the bay and still crave and find ways to come back and get al pastor super burritos. Nothing compares.

Today I came to get some micheladas. I clearly asked for negra modelos. I witnessed the ladies making the drinks pour Modelo especial instead of modelo negra. Some shady business practice.

Atomsphere good. Food has godd flavor.

We just got what I was looking for - great authentic Mexican food without the hype. Highly recommended for great food and exotic drinks.

I have been coming to tequilas with my dad since I was young. I love their food and the people working there are so sweet and kind. Prices have risen with the economy but well worth the money. We don’t live here anymore but it’s a must go to when we come back. Best Mexican food in Livermore!!!

I dream of the beans from Tequila's Taqueria. They are SO SO SO flavorful. I don't live in Livermore, but every time I visit, it is one of the first places I come! Their taco combo plate is THE BEST. I love that they serve it with grilled onions and a whole pepper. Just writing this review is making me hungry. Get the beans, you won't be disappointed. Their salsa bar is also great, all of them are so authentic and delicious! I prefer to take the food to go, but there are a few tables at a clean dining room inside as well.

Vegetarian options: There are some vegetarian options like Chile Relleno.

Kid-friendliness: The last time I visited, they were hosting a child's birthday inside with cake and all. The restaurant even provided the cake plates I think.

Most authentic Mexican food taste. Service was great. Serving portions exceeded expectations. From out of town searched for a place with good reviews. Tequilas taqueria did not disappoint.

Excellent service. I ordered tacos de lengua, and they were delicious. I love the fact they have a salsa bar. The only thing is, I wish the hot salsa would be hotter.

Lame. Flavorless beans and rice like many Mexican restaurants and lame meat portions on mytacos. Cook food you take pride in and would eat yourselves. Por Favor.

My burrito was actually cold, not even cool. It was more of a bean burrito than Chili Colorado, hardly any meat. The pepper in the chili rellano had a weird taste to it also.

It’s very loud, but good food. However, it is very expensive ever since COVID.Super burritos are double the price now and most other dishes too.And it seems like everyone needs to tip when you pay, even though it’s not a full service
