With the downtown parking challenges, we have not been to Tequila's Taqueria in a while. We parked after post office hours, and enjoyed their Taco Tuesday yummy soft tacos. Over the years, we have enjoyed every dinner; we get cravings for their guacamole... the service is always friendly and efficient. What a treat ... so close to the flagpole.

My favorite spot in downtown Livermore! Great food! Good prices. Good service! Once you try it, you'll go back for more!

It’s very loud, but good food. However, it is very expensive ever since COVID.Super burritos are double the price now and most other dishes too.And it seems like everyone needs to tip when you pay, even though it’s not a full service

Food was delicious. Service was great. I've never been to a taqueria where the servers check on you. And we were check on more than once. We ordered: Two crispy taco plate with carnitas and al pastor pork. The carnitas were tender, freshly made and not fatty. The pastor was flavorful. Beans and rice were good! What I love about their crispy tacos is that their crispy taco shells are made to order. They were sooooo good! Two soft taco plate with carne asada and al pastor. Also very good. Quesabirria taco plate with 3 delicious looking tacos that were amazing! Wish their chips were as good as their crispy taco shells. I'd certainly return.

After years of research I've definitively determined Tequila's is the best burrito in the Livermore/Pleasanton area.

We went on a Friday night and didn't realize they had a Banda playing. For the space and a Banda it gets pretty loud. Overall food (tacos, aguachiles, cóctel de camarón) and Micheladas are great!

Deleting my earlier 5 star review. Placed an online order, it was confirmed. They charge my card, we showed up to pick it up. Employees said they're closed, refused to help and refused to issue a refund.

Tequila's Taqueria service was the absolute worst. We rolled in 10 mins before closing, ordered two super tacos and a quesadilla. The lady taking our order wasn't thrilled about customers near closing time. Got the wrong order - regular tacos instead of super ones. When I pointed it out, she snapped, "No, you didn't." Paid for food I never received and got hit with major attitude. Skip this place and hit up taquerias with friendlier staff! There are plenty who would be happy to have your business.

It's Saturday night, Santa con is taking place downtown, it's a day before Christmas. My family and I just finished the wine trolly tour (highly recommended). There was nothing but attitude from the two ladies working there. There was a gentleman that didn't say much but at least cracked a smile. To be fair we were a large group, 20 to be exact and we got there near closing but if you know the food industry at all, you know if a costumer walks in 1 minute before closing you serve them! The issue wasn't the food I'd give it a solid 3.5, even thought out tacos were drenched in salsa. My family had ordered my food so I went to the counter to buy drinks, the cashier basically threw them at us, it was not only awkward it was completely uncomfortable. Then I proceeded to walk to the salsa bar for some pico and the lady basically snatched the container as I was placing the spoon back and made the comment (we have to go). At this point I look at her and it's clear she isn't mad, she's bitter. Both ladies walked around making it clear they wanted us out, unnecessarily slamming and yanking things around the restaurant. Again, super awkward! Many of us there have worked the food and hospitality industry. Having a family business we understand costumer service which is why we are generous tippers but I won't lie, I refused to leave a cent behind. When I say we tip generously, I mean one of us will go around and collect money to tip our service providers. In the trolly alone we tipped our driver over $200. I cannot stress this enough, we get how hard this type of work is! I can only speak for myself when I say, will never step foot in this place again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I will definitely suggest people look for alternatives. I was really tempted to say something before I walked out but decided that I wouldn't give the energy I had received because I was raised better than that. Instead I hope those two ladies find some joy in life and hopefully have options because clearly the food industry isn't for them. PS. There's a review from a gentleman that was posted 9 hours before mine so clearly the fact that it was closing time wasn't the factor that lead to this horrible experience. What could the excise have been then?

A successful restaurant business has an ideal location, enjoyable atmosphere, great food, and excellent service. Regrettably this "restaurant" provides customers with very poor, unprofessional, and unsatisfactory customer service. Background My wife arrived at the location on Saturday 12/23/23 around 6:15 pm. Few customers were in the restaurant. We were at the counter ready to order however the female behind the counter was very busy "reviewing receipts". Her eyes were centered on receipts not customers. Not once did she look up or say " I'll be right with you", "sorry for the wait", nothing, nada. She was totally fixated on the receipts as if they were freshly made warm tamales. Another person (female employee) who appeared very sad and very lonely came up to the counter and answered the phone while we waited patiently, again no greeting, no apology, nothing. After a few minutes we decided to take our business else where. The service appeared totally depressing; and we are only a couple of days to Christmas! ): Recommendation Employees at this "restaurant" need customer service training. They need to realize that customers MAKE the BUSINESS AND MAKE EATING ESTABLISHMENTS SUCCESSFUL! I'm very pro Latino owned businesses however in this situation I cannot in good faith recommend this establishment. Seriously there a numerous Mexican restaurants in Livermore you may visit, have a good meal and enjoy Excellent Customer Service. As for the two employees; may God Bless you and may you enjoy a good holiday Margarita and a wonderful restaurant with excellent service. Enjoy the drink and learn from those who provide Excellent Service to Customers. Feliz Navidad!
