The Grill at Wente Vineyards

Service chronically late. Food was very simply made. Chicken salad sandwich bland. Lobster grilled cheese very good. Not too cheesy. My main issue is the food is way too expensive for the value

The Grill is a great place for food before wine tasting at Wente. We sat outside next to the golf course, what a beautiful view. The service was excellent along with the drinks and food. No complaint's. Would definitely go back.

First time at this location - excellent service, great food, comfortable setting. Enjoyed our lunch!

The chairs on the deck area need sliders, the sound of moving a chair on cement is loud and most unpleasant. The service was ok but there was 1 waitress for clearing and service...for EVERYONE, very bad management. All food was excellent, and of course we will come again as it is my favorite in Livermore.

The chicken sandwich that was ordered was icy cold. I've never had a cold almost frozen chicken sandwich ever. The french fries lacked any flavor and we're overcooked from frozen. Not a meal I would've expected for Puente. 

Great service and excellent place to have a business lunch! We will definitely come back. The view of the golf course was beautiful. We did wine tasting at the tasting room so we didn't order wine.

We had lunch at The Grill after a wine tasting at Wente. The food was very good. We sat outside but were warned of yellow jackets visiting the outside seat. We did not see any until we were about to leave. Good service, and a nice view of the golf course, oak hillsides . Menu was varied with lots of choices.

There are always bees that are problematic. It really detracts from the overall experience. My club sandwich was skimpy and my wife's hamburger and side salad was not great. The salad was a bunch or lettuce thrown on the plate.

We really enjoyed the service - Deliah was exceptional servicer and the food was delicious. Her recommendations were great and appreciated. We will definitely come back again. We requested outside because of the nice weather, and it was loud inside so much quieter on the patio. We will definitely go back again

Love the new menu. Lots of new drink and sandwich options. Prices, like everywhere, have gone up up up. Service was good. Sitting outdoors was beautiful, minus the wasps. They kept wanting to join our meal.

Major problem of dozens of hornets We saw them stinging people and they were everywhere. We asked the server to put some food on a plate by the bushes as a sacrificial plate which seemed to help

Apparently it is yellow jacket season at the Golf Course. Our small group of four, hubyy and my parents, chose to eat outside because the indoor dining room looks dark and it was a bright sunny day. We faced the green rolling hills of the venue. However, we were not warned that we would be sharing out meal with a plethora of yellow jackets. We had my 93 year old dad and 86 year old mom so moving quickly is not in their wheelhouse any longer. Hubby and I ate in shifts so one of us could guard the elderly parents. Other than that the food was plentiful and tasty.

The Grill was wonderful!!! The new menu was great and we're going to keep coming back for those amazing Smash Burgers!!!! Yum Yum!!!! Had a wonderful lunch and then went wine tasting by walking across the parking lot... so we spent about 3-4 hours just relaxing and it was wonderful!!!!

There were so many wasps swarming our table while we were eating that is was the opposite of enjoyable. Horrible experience. Wasps literally everywhere. There were so many that every bite you took almost had a wasp in it. Unbelievable that we even had to pay for our food. They need to manage the wasp problem or not allow outdoor seating.
