My husband and I decided on a last minute date, asked someone from the area for a recommendation and this is where we ended up. We were able to walk in and sit where we wanted. When they delivered our appetizer, we both commented about the generous portion vs. cost. It was delicious. I chose a riblet special for dinner and my husband got something off the regular menu. They happily swapped out the sides that came with it for any other side I wanted. I also ordered a lemon drop. It was wonderful. It’s rare that I order a drink out and I don’t feel like the bartender is trying to get me drunk, but this one tasted like it should.
The food and drinks were amazing and the portions were generous. Service was perfect.
I also forgot a sweater and purchased one of their signature sweatshirts. I love it. Right up my alley.
This definitely has a ‘locals’ vibe but was very welcoming. My husband and I will be back. We’ve found a new date night location.

My husband gets off work late & we planned to go to Sauced BBQ but unexpected maintenance caused closure. My husband said he wanted a hamburger. So we Google Best hamburgers & Riata came up first. Short on time we mapped that location. Unfortunately we arrived at this place we came once before. I remembered it wasn't good to me with the Philly sandwich but i remembered my husband liked his hamburger so I tried the Ortega burger. Medium well. Gross 😝 raw. Loss appetite but won't send it back. Tried cooking it home next day bc it wasn't cheap. Still not good. Paid extra for onions, and asked for some lettuce, tomato. Glad I asked but was skimpy to say the least. We won't be going back ever! Picture doesn't do it justice.

Surprisingly good dinner and exceptional service. Stephanie M. was super friendly, anticipated our needs, made helpful recommendations, navigated dietary restrictions, and checked in just the right amount. Side salad was fresh and dressings were house-made and very good. Tri-tip was a generous portion. Server’s recommendation of ordering the steak Medium was right on, as it was somewhat pink - what some places would call Medium Rare. The berry cobbler was homemade and delicious. Prices were very reasonable. Will add Riata to our Livermore rotation!

First visit and went for the potato basil soup and grilled cheese sandwich. Soup was flavorful and thick in a nice potato way. Maybe next time can I get a bowl?
Most perfect grilled cheese I've had in years. Perfectly toasted, not greasy. Nice crunchy outside. Yes!!!
We shared a slice of key lime pie
Also very good, partner ate some of my share.
Much resentment on my part
Pretty quiet Wednesday night visit after 8 pm. No waiting.

It's been awhile since I had a really good burger. All American medium was my choice. Beer selection is very good too.

Wow!!! Im 100% going back the food was AMAZING!! We got the appetizer sampler tray and dessert and it still only ended up being like 80 bucks!! Really good prices for the food in my opinion! I recommend the Alfredo (huge portion size imo) and the onion rings and potato skins(!!) this place is amazing! I dont eat out much but I WILL be back! Yum!

The menu looked great. I wish I could tell you how the food was. But we sat down around 10:30 am and by 11:03, no one had touched the table to even say hello, let alone take an order. We got up and left. Not sure when they'll realize it ...

Responding to the business:
We tried. We tried making eye contact with anyone with a name tag that walked past our table. They either turned their backs, or straight up avoided eye contact, looking over or around us.
But also, is it normal for a table to have to remind the host / staff that they should check in on tables? We felt being ignored for a half hour was indicative of the service we would have received if we had stayed, and left before we were committed to waiting another hour for any food we ordered to be delivered.

I love this place. My bestie and I go there at least once a week now. The staff is very attentive, drinks are nice, and the food is always done perfectly. If you ask for your burger to be cooked a certain way you can be sure it will be.

I rarely leave negative reviews, mostly positive as I believe credit is due when deserved. Today was different. I treated myself to breakfast which is rare. Craving coffee and eggs. Seated at a one of the bar tables, the bartender (owner's son) mentioned he'd be right with me. It's Sunday morning, it's busy, I get it. I said no worries! Just happy to be acknowledged. It all went south from there. Young waitress approached my table and asked if she could get me anything, yes please, coffee and water. She asked if I was ready to order, yes please, eggs and an English muffin. She returned with my coffee and water. That was the last I'd see of her until my meal was completed. My empty coffee cup sat on the edge of my table during my entire meal hoping to be refreshed. It never happened. She had passed my table several times without approaching to see if I needed anything. No eye contact, yet lots of chitchat time with coworkers in the corner of the bar talking about other employee's personal problems for all within earshot to hear. I had to flag her down for a refill. She was so unobservant that she didn't notice my creamer dish was empty and walked off after bringing me my 2nd cup after my meal was finished... did I mention this? I had to stop her and ask for creamer. (The little plastic cups) This was the last I saw of her this morning. (Bartender handed me my bill) She never came back to check on my coffee, did not to ask if i needed anything. The one time I craved eggs and coffee. I think a 20% tip was overly generous, however the food was good, the food runner was very kind, I'm hopeful they split tips. My server would not be deserving. Disappointed, I'll prepare my own breakfast going forward. ? me thinks a different career may be a suitable suggestion.
