Uncle Yu's at the Vineyard

The best place in town, legendary food and legendary service! Garlic Noodles are an institution for me!

Always great food with fresh ingredients, delicious sauces, and cooked to perfection. Best wine list on the area. Try it if you haven't been there.

The food is always exceptional, but clearly staffing was an issue, particularly at the bar. I think it took more 15 minutes before we got our drinks. Food service was also slow. When our entrees were delivered I ordered a glass of champagne and did not get the drink until we were almost finished with our meal. They did comp the champagne. We consider this restaurant a special occasion venue, but were definitely a little let down by the service.

We sat outside and it seemed we were forgotten. I had to go fetch our waitress three times to get some type of service. Usually the service is excellent but not at all this time.

This restaurant is an excellent choice for a date night, offering attentive service and delicious food. My only minor critique is that a few dishes didn't quite hit their full flavor pot

Food here is always great. Been multiple time trying different dishes. Never had a bad one yet. Corkage fee is reasonable so bringing your own wine can be worth it for a higher priced wine.

Food is outstanding always!!! Amazing food, wine and bar menu! Great ambience inside and outside. We usually have amazing wait staff but this visit our waiter was not as gracious or accommodating. But we'll be back soon!

Good experience. The restaurant is a little tricky to find from the Vineyard parking lot. From the parking lot side It looks like an office building. Once inside the building, You have to walk to the front side. You will see the bathrooms. The entrance is on the left side of the bathrooms. Doesn't look like a normal entrance. It almost looks like a utility door . Once inside, it looks like a normal restaurant. Good ambiance, good food.

20th Anniversary for dinner. Belle made the experience EXTRA SPECIAL. She was extremely attentive to our needs and the food was OUTSTANDING. She even comped us an anniversary dessert - chocolate covered ball of mango and passion fruit ice cream. Wow! I would recommend the sea bass. MMMM. Looking forward to our next visit. THANKYOU BELLE!!!

Great food and service! It was my second time there even though I live 400 miles away. I noticed their consistency. There is plenty of parking if you can walk a block, behind the restaurant. They have a large collection of wines, if that's your thing.

I have been to Uncle Yu’s several times and gotten a different dish every time. Every meal was excellent. The bbq sea bass and beef medallions are among the best meals I have ever had. By far my favorite restaurant in Livermore.

Food was exceptional... having to swat the knats like lung fu fighting was another thing. Owners should really figure out how to get rid of the knats
