Uncle Yu's never disappoints!!. With an exceptional menu, delicious dishes in a comfortable yet special environment. From lunches to daily dinners and hosting special events- it's a jewel in downtown Livermore. Serivice is also tops.

The food was great. We Mongolia beef and pork chow mein. Both of them were excellent. Our waiter was attentive.

We stopped in early at 3:30. Restaurant wasn't busy, it was quiet. Awesome bar service and both drinks and food were delicious.

I absolutely love Uncle Yu's. I go at least 4 times a year. I've never been there for lunch, but will stick to dinner hours. Three out of the 5 items we ordered was quite dry (overcooked). The flavor was there, just dry. I was a bit disappointed since I was celebrating my best friend's Birthday- who had never been. Overall, I will not allow one bad experience to keep me from going. I will definitely be back for dinner!

The menu selection was wide and varied. The wor wonton soup was excellent, as were the dim sum basket and other plates we ordered. The service was friendly, informative and efficient without hovering. We highly recommend this restaurant as a venue for celebrating a birthday, as we did.

Always a delight when we are in Livermore. The cocktails were great, but the deep fried eggplant is to die for!

Enjoy delicious food and hearty portions, with an impressive selection of wines. The crab fried rice is made even better with generous crab legs. The Orange Chicken was fried perfectly with a light crispy crunch and Mongolian Beef/scallops dish was good as well. Expensive but you get good food and generous servings!

Americanized Chinese. But great service. Great ambience. And amazing collection of wines

We went on Halloween, and it was a wonderful dinner, appetizers are amazing, service was great and the bar was spot on. Not our first trip and not our last for sure. Yahoo to Uncle Yu's.

This place was extremely bland for the price. For a restaurant that's supposed to be authentic it was pretty Americanized. The vegetable soup was just vegetables thrown in warmed water. No, flavor whatsoever.I feel that I have to bring my own bouillon if I was to eat it again. A poor attempt at vegetable infused water.

The best ever place. Not cheap but worth each dollar)

An upscale environment and food experience. All the food we ordered was excellent. The Peking Duck Spring Rolls were exceptional. Are service was great and the environment was lively and sophisticated. Definitely a more “big city” feel. It did get a bit loud in the dining room which was fine for us but if it was a first date or someone had issues with hearing it might be a bit much. However we enjoyed vibrant Saturday night atmosphere.

I visited this restaurant recently and was impressed with the overall service experience. There was no wait, plenty of seating available, and the staff made me feel welcomed right away. The service was top notch—our server was friendly and attentive, though the check-ins were spaced a bit far apart. I ordered the Pad Thai and the Kung Pao Chicken. While both dishes were decent, I’ve had better versions at other restaurants, so the food didn’t stand out as much as the service did. Overall, a pleasant dining experience, especially if you value a smooth seating process and warm service.
