The bartender was outright racist. She commented about us not fitting in and and maybe making other patrons uncomfortable. This is when we had just walked in!!
I am not sure this is acceptable behavior in any place, especially in a Bay area establishment.
Leave it, not worth your time and dollars!

Bartenders could be more friendly, but It's hard work so I understand. Great atmosphere, mixed crowd of all backgrounds and ages. Pool table, shuffle board. Very cool stuff.

I have been a resident of my beautiful Livermore for over 20 years. This is normally one of my go to’s. However, the last few times I’ve been so excited and brought my friends, I immediately regretted it. The female bartender with blonde/blue hair is atrocious! We will never go back. I tell all my friends and everyone I know from the wineries and breweries to never go to the V&E. Don’t waste your time and/or money when there are so many other places that are hella better and not aggressively abusive.
Third time coming here in the past year. First two times bartender was the rudest I have ever encountered. I let it slide because it was a busy night so maybe she just never “seen us”. This last Saturday my husband and I stopped in for a drink before our dinner reservations. Only about 10 others inside and we were able to sit at the bar. She sat talking to others at the far end for 15 minutes then came and served others next to us. Never saying a word to us. Finally, I heard her ask us how our day was doing, or so we thought she was, so I replied it’s going great how are you. She glared at me and I realized she was asking the two guys who walked in and were standing behind us and asked what would they like to have! She never even acknowledged that we were sitting there! She seemed to be struggling a little with her speech if you know what I mean so maybe that’s why. We got up and walked out. Never again though! The owners of this place needs to really consider if this bartender is good for their business.

We stop by here every time we come to Livermore. This is a no frills bar and a lot of locals come here and hang out. We love Mariana aka Marinara. She is always great to us and makes great drinks!

Warning!!!! DO NOT COME HERE! First time at this bar and the bar tender was such a “see you next Tuesday”. We walked in, nice gentlemen at the bar offered their seat for us and as we were trying to arrange the seats she goes “do you all have to seat here???”. We didn’t make a big deal out of it but then as she tried to take our orders she dismissed me as she said “oh! She’s texting”. She clearly had an issue from the moment we walked in. Too bad as we like to tip and we tip well… her loss 🤷🏻♀️
