Found this place on Google looking for a restaurant near the hotel family was staying at. What a gem!The restaurant is located in a shopping center, with a unassuming store front, but like many small businesses, don't let that fool you. We walked in on a Friday night and it was full with a wait list (they use the Yelp wait list feature, you log yourself in), but there were only two parties in front of us and the wait was less then 20 minutes.Once we were seated we shared an order of garlic edemame and gyōzas. The edemame was full of flavor with lots of fresh sautéed garlic, the gyōzas were crispy and the filling moist and yummy. We ordered a number of rolls, two traditional, two cucumber wrapped - Rainbow, Dragon Crunch, SP Crab and Sakura and one Chicken Teriyaki Plate. The fish was so fresh, prepared beautifully and presented elegantly.Service was quick and everyone was so welcoming. Would definitely visit again if I'm in the Livermore area. The shear volume of takeout and delivery orders in addition to a long wait list by the time we left tells me that many agree with me about the quality of the food here.

Food was great. Japanese dishes I ordered were more like actal Japanese food I had in Japan than any other restaurant in town. Portion sizes are good and my kids who love animals enjoyed looking around the artwork on the walls. Great place for low key, casual dining atmosphere. Real Asian fusion prepared well. If you are reserving for mothers day, get in early so you can clinch the good stuff.Kid-friendliness: Family friendly staff .and atmosphere.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps in that I can remember. Tile floor. Moveable seating/tables

Had the chicken donburi and the mackerel dish (both were too bland). The best part of both was the miso soup. Maybe this place is best for sushi. Probably will not return.

I think this restaurant only good for sushi .Sushi test good but size small .The worst thing is the cooked food. I ordered Katsu don. The pork chop was as thin as paper and the sauce was too sweet and salty, it cost $18 .

Always such a treat. Fresh high quality fish and interesting innovative rolls. Try the Super Rainbow roll for a real treat! Here is the Chu-Toro, which is brilliant!

LOVE this place. Food is bomb, and it comes out pretty fast. If you don't like it then there's something wrong with you.I recommend the dancing shrimp (makis)

I recently dined at this fantastic sushi restaurant. The sashimi plate was incredibly fresh, showcasing the chef's commitment to quality ingredients. The garlic sautéed edamame was a delightful and tasty twist, adding a burst of flavor. The unique finish with fried fish bone was a memorable touch, offering a distinct and delicious experience. Overall, a must-visit for sushi enthusiasts seeking both freshness and innovative flavors.
