Service is lacking, not welcoming or friendly. Food was fantastic, I wish they can figure out this piece and then I would give them a 5 star.

Wow!! What an amazing local bakery. We found this place after a race at Del Valle Park. After hitting the trails we went hard on the pastries and baked goods. Everything is so fresh and beautifully created. Highlights would be the Rhubarb Pop Tart, perfect crust with little zing of rhubarb offset by the beautiful frosting. The croissants are to die for and remind me of Paris with their flaky crusts. We tried several sandwiches and the standout was the Turkey Avocado. The bakery is as beautiful as the food with a working kitchen just off the main dining area. Excellent food, service and a very chill vibe that makes you want to hang out with the staff and shoot the breeze. A special shoutout to Ewan for checking on our table often and making sure we were well taken care. I don't get this kind of service at a fine dining restaurant, let alone a local bakery! Hire more Ewans and make me about a dozen more of those chocolate Kouign-amans. So damn good.

I am a big fan of this bakery. I love introducing it to my friends and family when they come to visit. One of my go to things to eat is their breakfast sandwich. The egg yolk is always cooked to gooey perfection. All of the employees are very friendly, even when they are super busy. I love that there are lots of places to sit, indoor and outdoor on the patio. They even have a cute little area for kids to play. I love their fresh sourdough and all the pastries they have on display.

Just left Wingen and had to post about the excellent customer service we received today and always. The twice baked almond croissant and honey latte are amazing, don't get me wrong but what's more amazing is the vibe while hanging out there. I generally roll in (literally) with my 1 year old and 3 year old, on my own. While we try to behave, sometimes our toys fall and we get crumbs everywhere. Everyone who works at Wingen goes out of their way to help but specifically the gentleman bussing tables goes above and beyond. The last several times we've been, he checks on us, makes sure we're all doing well, helps clean, and picks up hot wheels whenever he sees them fall. I really appreciate having a warm, friendly, delicious local business to feel welcome to bring my family too. Thank you!

*the review is for the service only* I love all the food especially bagels, baguette and most of the friendly staff except for the barista in particular. She tends to ignore me and stares at me without saying anything like asking if I need help. Obviously if I'm standing and waiting while looking at her to catch her attention. She doesn't create a welcoming vibe, at first I thought it was because she was busy but nope, this happened to me for the past 5+ visits aka I'm a regular. I don't know what her problem is but it's always awkward when she ignores me and then another staff helps only after standing there for awhile. Maybe her job is just to only make drinks but it doesn't hurt to acknowledge a customer and let them know someone will be right with them. Anyway this ruined my appetite.

Best bakery in the Bay Area. We never miss a chance to pick up something from them when in Downtown Livermore.

We stopped by unplanned and decided to have some baked goods. We purchased one regular croissant, one almond croissant, one small cookie with center topping and one cinnamon swirl. the croissant was very good and so was the almond croissant they were not greasy which is a big important factor but the cookies and the cinnamon swirl were just ok. The place was crowded and the wait was about 10 minutes.

This place is really popular at the moment. Line was pretty much out the door. I ordered the bacon and egg sandwich with their pop tart. Not bad. My friend ordered the savory danish. Next time I’ll go with a croissant and some quiche. Good coffee there too.

Very nice and friendly shop. We came across them while traveling to Lodi. I'm glad the other shop was horrible so we could find Wingen!!! Great hot American, delicious latte and very kind staff. The shop was very clean and welcoming. We will definitely be back. Thank you!!!

What a lovely place. Vibe is welcoming and the setup is warm. I tried the bagel sandwich (offered only on Mondays) which was so good. I've never had an onion bagel where the top had sweet cooked onions baked on there. I ordered ahead added a note on the bottom to please make the bacon crispy and they totally did. Yum! The toilet has a baby changing table. There is outdoor dining around back in the large parking lot. Cashier was friendly, owner was too. I can't wait to try the lemon poppy scone and their sour dough bread! The bread was too difficult to pass up, what's another $10? I look forward to trying other offerings! I totally dig this place.

I brought a friend because I loved Wingen so much the first time. I wanted to add some pictures. We had the breakfast sandwich: amazing! Avocado toast again: divine! I ordered a chocolate chip cookie and I liked the texture and the chocolate but it was way too salty for me. We sat inside this time and I loved the artwork on the wall especially this one that I posted. The painting was done on an old window! So clever and creative. Great place again!

Went there for the first time for their Friday night pizza night! Can't go wrong with freshly baked pizzas from a bakery haha. We ordered the sausage and potato pizzas and they were both excellent - slightly less rosemary for the potato one would have been ideal but not complaining here, I'm here for the bread! For starters, we ordered the mortadella (pretty high quality!) and the focaccia, which was in a muffin form factor but gave more crust all around which was great. Our baby LOVED the pizza crust and didn't let go until half an hour later when what was left was all mushy so props to the chefs for creating her latest favourite food!Almost taking off one star for the service coz we didn't get our appetizers until 20 mins in, but our server was very apologetic and gave us some free olives and later on some dessert as well to go to compensate! She was attentive and helpful with recommending wine, we appreciate it!Atmosphere could have been better, most of the tables were a bit small for the pizzas they serve but that's because they're the same ones for their regular business (I think if they had square tables that could be pushed together it might work better, maybe adding a tablecloth could make the ambience a bit more like a sit down dinner place?) but this is a Friday night only arrangement so can't fault them too much really. Will come again on a future Friday!

This bakery is located in downtown. There are public parking further away if you don't mind walking. The order line was very long on a Saturday morning until around 10:30am. The cafe is pretty full and sometime it's hard to find a table, especially many people like to stay for hours to work or hangout. The food and beverage are good. Many pastry items were sold out in the morning. Service is good as well.

I'm not in the area too often but every few months when I get my hair done in Livermore I will try to make a stop here as it's one of my favorite places in the area. The first time I visited I had their turkey and avocado sandwich and couldn't stop thinking about it. I'm always a sucker for foods that with their simplicity let the quality of their ingredients shine and this bakery does that beautifully. This time I had their hot turkey sandwich on toasted French bread which was also very good. As you can tell from my picture, me and my sister scarfed down our food before I even remembered to take a picture...haha! They also have delicious pastries and are very kid friendly (they have a kitchen play set to occupy the little ones while you relax with some coffee). I didn't notice this initially but they have a variety of craft beer in their fridge as well. A few tips: French baguettes to-go are only available after 11a and get the herb cream cheese in a tub to bring home. You're welcome.
