I noted it was my husbands bday, but that was never acknowledged. Additionally, I thought maybe they had done away with the complimentary bread upon reopening after the fire, but turns out our waiter just never brought it. We spent over $200 for two people from appetizers to dessert. When I inquired about why they had discontinued the bread as we were wrapping up our meal (assuming that was the case), he informed us that we just came at a bad time and newly bake bread was just...
Best service we've ever had there! Daisy was very friendly, patient and checked on us several times to see if we were good. Food was delicious :) We haven't been there since the reopening but I do feel like the portion size was bigger and the parmesan sole was cooked perfect!
We celebrated my son's birthday. He had lamb chops, his daughter had pasta, may wife had parmesan lemon sole. I had Oso Bucco. The food was great. We also had the butternut squash soup and calamari. It was excellent. The service was spotty. The glasses emptied and were not getting refilled. It seemed like we had been forgotten while we waited for the main course. I did not experience that in prior visits.
