Just what the doctor ordered. Appellation's takeover of the Wine & Roses property is finally giving the community the premium dining experience that the Lodi region was missing, and this should serve as a cornerstone for more fine dining if Chef Charlie's network is any indicator. The old Town House restaurant had really gone down hill since COVID, with a tiny menu and exorbitant prices that did not match the quality of the food. My wife and I swore it off two years...
The restaurant is going through some renovations, and, all the tables were outside. They had wonderful food and an extensive wine list. While dinner was going on, there was some guitar player and the music was great. Our waitress, Maya, was very respectful but also sensed when we needed something. She was very pleasant and described each dish we had questions on. It was our anniversay and a very pleasant experience,

Food, especially the pate, was phenomenal. Rocky start, but it was the first night of the new menu and everyone fixed the issue. I cannot wait to go back again.
