Excellent all around. It's very inviting inside that you want to get a cup of whatever and a pastry to hang out a bit. Plenty of parking here and the selection is big. I like their coffee here to go or to chill out a bit. They open very early too.

Everything we got was fantastic. I liked the bread pudding and the red bean cream bun the best. So, so good.

Bakery is good… just feel a bit rushed. They ask what else you want when you are trying to look at the other options in the case to make a decision.

Very good pastry shop, I lived in japan for 7 years and this is the first bakery state side that is very close to what you would get in main land.

Love this spot! So far I've tried the pork bun, olive bread, mini strawberry ? croissant and azuki cream bun and cheesecake. Haven't been disappointed with anything. I really love their unsweetened peach iced tea also. The place is very spacious with lots of seating.

I've been going here often since it opened, but the customer service is always bad. I have the impression that the clerk is always angry. ?When I went there on Saturday at 3pm, it was almost sold out, so I think it would be okay to close at 5pm. There are many table seats and counter seats, and the rest room without a password is good.

This is the best bakery for Japanese people??They have a lot of nostalgic breads that I used to eat when I was in Japan. Curry bread, sausage bread, red bean paste, egg sandwich, ham lettuce cheese sandwich, meat bun. It's much more delicious than what I've eaten in Japan. There are also rice balls. The red bean cream is especially delicious. The price is also reasonable. When I went on a Sunday at 11am, there was a line, but it was a reasonable number of people. By 12:00, there was a huge line!

Edit:

Down from 5 to 3 stars. The workers here are not so great, borderline unfriendly. Nothing like the Tustin locaiton.

Original review. So good. Even better than the one I remember in Tustin. Katsu is maybe the best I've had.

Their pastries are the best I ever had. The cream filled pastries are delicious, and are not overly sweet, and the ambiance is beautiful.
