More La and oc standard korean food in torrance finally! I think food quality and taste is similar to h mart. I like there is self order and check out. It's pretty new so def cleaner than most restaurants in torrance area.

It had its own little tablet for you to choose your food, and the waiter was so nice. When I asked for more kimchi, they gave me a bunch, saying that that was all that was left. Will come back a million more

Ordered from ubereats. Got the tofu soup, chicken bulgogi and extra banchan. The banchan was plentiful even without the extra. The soup was really good. It had a lot of umami and flavor. May have been one of the best soon tofu I've ever had in LA.

Plenty of parking in the plaza. Small restaurant with mainly takeout orders. I ordered the S5. Soon Tofu Soup 순두부 this time and it was quite disappointing. It smelled extra fishy and the shrimp wasn't deshelled or deveined. The seafood was definitely something you get from a frozen package and they didn't even bother to take out the poop from the shrimp. I came here multiple times now and I think the bibimbap and the other dishes are better. I don't recommend the seafood at all.

If you're in the mood for Korean food, Maru kitchen is a decent spot. Service is super friendly and there's ample parking in the lot.We got take-out and I'm honestly impressed by how they package everything. When you're transporting the food home, I can guarantee you that nothing will spill. I got the pork bulgogi which came with a bunch of different things including banchan and was also served in a bento-type container. It's nice how you get the same feel with the banchan and side dishes as if you dined at the restaurant.I wouldn't hesitate to come back if I was in the mood for quick Korean food.

Just had the most delicious meal where we finished almost every last piece of rice. Super authentic, perfectly seasoned and cooked (speaking as a Korean-American eating loads of Korean food both at home and out in the OC/LA area). Our toddler who is very picky even ate the broccoli banchan and mild soontofu. The service was also very attentive and kind, made for an all around pleasant dining experience. Their crispy rice bibimbap was one of the best I’ve eaten and the side of radish soup was devoured by my toddler. I always get very excited when my toddler eats a full meal that’s healthy and it’s a great indicator of the taste/texture of the food. They even gave us delicious walnut pastry balls filled with red bean paste for dessert. Yummy! Can’t wait to try more of their menu - its extensive with lots of great options. Something for everyone.Kid-friendliness: My picky toddler loved their food!

Foods are so good - especially 줄고기 돌솥 /hotstone and 치킨까스 벤토 Katsu / chicken cutlet bento is so so good than any other Japanese sushi restaurant I had togo for pork& kimchi stir fried for my Kimchi soup but i opened it & ate it - becuase so so delicious little sweet & spicy but perfect taste.Ask them little bit not spicy so they didn't put Jalapeños.

I had a rare night to myself after working an open house, and was craving hot tofu soon on this chillier summer night. I came to Maru kitchen when it first opened during COVID, and I was pleasantly surprised to find how much their menu expanded!Everything was actually awesome, the only reason for 4 vs 5 stars is bc of the price. I think soon tofu and the side dishes for $15.99 are reasonable, but to add a side order of kalbi of 5 pieces, $14.99 (just a dollar off from the rest of my meal) seemed a bit steep for very thin pieces. That being said, I enjoyed the mildly spiced soon tofu, all the side dishes. Rice was smoooshy and overcooked, which is also disappointing at this price point, but the service was great! ?Total for my meal including 18% tip= $40.31

Fantastic food! Had the ramen and bugulgi rice bowl. Wasn't too spicy for my tender taste buds! The owner was very nice, excellent service. They put in tablets you can order from on each table.

Clean little Korean restaurant. Lots of choices on the menu. Ranging from hot stone bibim bap to rice cakes ddukboki and fried chicken. The food used to come in takeout containers even when dining in but I think that was just remnants of covid. Now they come in regular dishware. Everything I tried tastes pretty good. The spicy rice cakes in the ddukboki are super soft and yummy. The fried chicken tastes good. I don't love the sauce as much as chicken places like Love Letter but it isn't their specialty so I can't complain. Watch the hours though because they close between lunch and dinner.

My sister and I stopped here for dinner on a whim and were pleasantly surprised by how tasty everything was. The ladies at the front counter were very kind and attentive to us while we were eating. The inside is a smaller sized eating area, but there weren't many people there when we went. We will definitely be back to try more of their items.
