Steak quality is better than Barrans 3329, Pacific Stadard Prime, and Steak & Whiskey. Service quality is better than I’ve ever had in South Bay. This is a hidden gem. What are you waiting for? Go here! And eat everything.

Sister restaurant of Tamean. Good quality meats, with good options. Service is great. Big downside is they do not have a full liquor license so only beer and wine.
Be prepared to pay for quality price meats. Plenty of parking. Nice quiet.

Wow that’s all I can say.. This place is a hidden gem the food is spectacular and the service is the best service I’ve had at a fine dining restaurant. All the meats were perfectly cooked and very tender. You won’t go wrong with this restaurant if you choose to eat here. I’m glad I got to celebrate my birthday here.

Best steak house in LA. We came here for a special occasion and it was amazing. The steak is the crown jewel. Definitely recommend for some occasion that needs to be special.

Great service! Came here for a bday celebration and we ordered rib eye, dry aged prime rib, angus beef stew, wagyu sushi, lobster mac and cheese, truffle mac and cheese, rice, and few starters with cocktails. It was all soo good. I would highly recommend this place.

The Steak Library exceeded our expectations in every way! The food was outstanding, with the steak being nothing short of sensational. The preparation was incredible, and the service was impeccable. We loved the Japanese-inspired theme in many of the dishes and can't wait to explore more of the menu next time. The overall experience was amazing, and we will definitely be back soon!

10 out of 10 for sure. We eat at a lot of steakhouses and this is one of the best 100%. I got the 22 ounce bone in ribeye and the truffle mashed potatoes. Everything was cooked perfectly. The service was outstanding and the restaurant is beautiful inside. Couldn’t be happier that a restaurant this good is so close to home.

Pleasant atmosphere , attentive service and delicious beef. Limited side choices . Unfortunately out of some of what would have been our first choices for beef . The wagyu was very good !

One of the best aged steaks in all of Southern California. Excellent service also. Don't let the area or parking lot fool you. This is a true neighborhood gem. We will be back

Excellent service and quality. It's $$$ but worth it. Go on a Friday or Saturday night if you're looking for a bit more liveliness, but early seating during the week give you lots of attention.

Excellent food, but at these prices service needs to be stellar. There was one waiter for an entire restaurant on a Friday night. I don't know what they were thinking w.just 1server (at these prices). You must have several servers and pay attention to detail. I wanted another glass of wine, however, could not get my server's attention (and he was also the Maitre'D as well, by the way, scrimping on cost like this shows and is not good for an establishment with these prices. He was just too busy. It wasn't his fault but certainly management is going to lose repeat business, since service is not fantastic. It was $160 per person. Can't fault tge food, it was all excellent.

Never thought that a place like this would exist in humble Lomita. If this is a sign of things to come, I am all for it! I am not a "eat steak out" kind of person, only because I am somewhat particular about how steak is prepared - I know how to cook a steak and I am usually disappointed at a restaurant. Steak Library was a revelation and a 10/10 Interesting cocktails, they were all wonderful, interesting takes on classic favorites such as a Sweet and Savory Bone Marrow appetizer, garlic fried rice and creamed spinach.

We share honest reviews. The atmosphere was good, the service was very good, and everything except the food was very good. But overall the food is very salty. The atmosphere and service were a waste compared to the food. The response was that there was never a complaint that it was salty, but no one would have judged the food on such a memorable day in such a good atmosphere. It was close to my house, so we went for dinner. It was about $340 for the two of us, and including the side and main, we had about 90% left over, so we only brought the meat because it was a waste. FYI, I ordered extra sauce, but the steak was already so salty that I couldn't even think of dipping it. I have no intention of returning.

The food was delicious. It was my wife and teen son and 12yr & 8yr old daughters. My daughters shared a meal. My son's wagyu steak was 3oz. For $120. After tip our bill was $900. A little pricy for atmosphere and food. But service was great and food was good. I've had steak as good for cheaper. I'd come back but with just my wife. Too expensive for my budget.
