We enjoyed a lovely, quiet evening with superb service and outstanding food!! The cotton candy WAGU appetizer was so fun and delicious. Very very unique. If you have a favorite wine, bring it. The restaurant is wine and beer only. Food was really really good. Try it!

Expectations were high based on the reviews. I rarely leave negative restaurant feedback because I understand the impact it can have on a business, but this experience warrants comment. Dinner for two totaled $600, a price point that sets clear expectations for execution and service. The meal began with a Caesar salad, followed by salmon carpaccio, served without replacing utensils. Not a deal breaker, but noticeable in a fine-dining setting. The main course was a tomahawk steak ordered medium rare, which arrived at room temperature and cooked rare. No apology was offered—only a question of whether I wanted it cooked further. After recognizing the poor execution, management offered to comp one glass of red wine: a $50 pour of Caymus 50th Anniversary Cab (2022), which retails for roughly $80 per bottle. Comping a heavily marked-up glass after a $600 dinner misses the point entirely. This experience does not compare to Cut, Mastro's, Steak 48, Arthur J's, or similar establishments. I wish the ownership well, but I will not return nor recommend this restaurant to anyone in my circle.
Amazing experience! Celebrated our anniversary here With my husband. Food 10/10, service 11/10 everything was great! We also had our picture taken on a polaroid camera which was very sweet.
This is an experience and everything we had was 10/10. Worth every penny. The creamiest mashed potatoes and the wildest mushrooms are a must try! You could potentially split a steak between two but if your steak lover then keep it to yourself 🙏🏼

Great find in the South Bay. We ordered the Filet and the New York. Both were exceptional and the mushrooms were the perfect pairing. Also recommend the octopus, it is a great tangy start to a rich dinner experience. The staff there were amazing, checking in at the appropriate times and very knowledgeable. They took into consideration my Gluten Free request and the chef modified the mushrooms for me. Definitely gluten free friendly. An overall great steak restaurant.
We went to The Steak Library in Lomita to treat ourselves, and it was a solid experience. The porterhouse was stunning, easily feeding three of us, and the Cotton Candy A5 Wagyu was hands-down the most memorable — the sweetness paired with the rich marbling made it something different from your usual steak. Everything else we tried, from the Smoked Bacon Delight to the Lobster and Truffle Mac n’ Cheese, was well-executed and flavorful without feeling heavy-handed. The space has a calm, inviting energy, and the whole meal just felt intentional — like every dish had a purpose. It’s a good spot for a night out when you want to enjoy some quality meat, treat yourself a little, and not have to worry about anything else. A nice South Bay gem to keep in mind.

Very unexpected experience in a good way, quite relaxed and not crowded tables. Food was very good, our only unexpected disappointment was the lack of a full bar but we made up for it with some good drinks and sake suggestions. Lobster bisque was my favorite along with the ponzu bone in rib eye, and the garlic shrimp. Couldn't have been a better evening for our anniversary which the staff took great care in helping our celebration.
Superb food and excellent service in a very unlikely location. But I'd go back whenever I want a superb steak. No liquor license (just wine and beer) is a bit of a drawback. But overall terrific spot.
The food was mediocre, I had an issue with at $20 item and request that it be taken off my $500 bill and they had a problem with that. I'll take my money to an establishment that not in a strip mall.
The food was excellent - a bit on a pricey side, but very good. The coursing was terrible - the last of the appetizers did not come out until the 1 hour mark and the server informed us that they have not even started on the steaks. Given the price point and the location, the service needs to be impeccable and it was not - not sure if we will be coming back.

This is a hidden gem, a little outside of South Bay but highly worth the drive. I’ve been lucky enough to experience a lot of nice restaurants and ones with Michelin stars. I can truly say this is the best steak I have ever had in my life. I had The bone marrow which was to do die for; the A5 waygu skewer in cotton candy …mouth watering, the A5 waygu sushi which has caviar and truffle on it, and the dry aged steak. It was next level. Crispy outside crust plus the inside was melt in your mouth perfection.
On top of all the that, the staff is amazing and the ambiance is great. They made my birthday unforgettable. This is my second time here and by far my favorite restaurant in the South Bay. I will Be back!

Everything we ordered was delicious. We started with the Shishito Peppers and Jumbo Shrimp, so yummy. For our entree, we split the 12 oz Filet, asparagus, and the fried rice. Everything was so good and all the staff were nice and friendly. We will definitely be going back!
What a great experience at the Steak Library! My wife and I celebrated our anniversary, and they had rose petals on the table and a fun dessert. The food was excellent, the ambiance was intimate, the service was great. Try the wagyu cotton candy skewers (trust me, mind blowing). We wanted the Kansas City aged bone in strip, but they didn't have it, so we went with the regular NY strip, and it was cooked to perfection. It is not cheap, but it is worth it.
