We’ve tried vegan offerings from bakeries all over San Diego, Orange County, and LA, but none have come close to the quality of this bakery.
Although they aren’t an entirely vegan bakery, they offer vegan options such as cookies and cakes — and they are truly the best we’ve ever had. The staff is extremely helpful and genuinely wants to make sure you get exactly what you need, which makes the experience even better. This year marks the third year I’m ordering my daughter’s birthday cake from them, and I plan to continue coming back year after year — and even in between birthdays — for their vegan treats.
Usually, when you buy a vegan item from a bakery, you can immediately tell it’s vegan — the taste or texture tends to be just slightly off. I always appreciate when bakeries make the effort to offer vegan options, but it’s something special when a bakery can create vegan desserts that taste just as good as traditional ones. The first time we tried their vegan cake, my husband was convinced I must have ordered a regular cake by mistake because it tasted so good!
You can tell this bakery uses extremely high-quality ingredients and makes everything from scratch. In fact, there have been times when I’ve paid more at other bakeries for vegan cakes that didn’t even come close to the quality this bakery provides.
If you’re looking for a vegan cake, cupcake, or cookie — whether it’s for a birthday, a holiday, or just a get-together — this is absolutely the place to go. Even if you don’t have food allergies and are vegan by choice (or even if you’re not vegan at all), I highly recommend trying their vegan offerings. They are truly outstanding.

I went in before 3pm (time they close) grabbed a chai was delicious and got a rice krispy treat Easter edition for my daughter thought it was cute. My daughter was excited when she got it. The rice krispy treat wasn’t good tasted old. She spilt it out

I ordered an 8” vegan Raspberry bliss cake for my birthday and it was a HIT! Everyone loved it! Also, I was running late to pick up the cake and the bakery was incredibly kind to call and text me to make sure I got it before they closed. Delicious cake, amazing customer service- 10/10 will order again.

Some of the best blueberry lemon scones ever. I’ve tried the cranberry and apricot which were okay. I love their breve coffee. I order from here quite often from doordash, just these two items and I would recommend. If they are out of something they usually call you for a substitute which is great.

My cake had a misspelling. I called and the woman said I would get a call back about compensation. No one has called back. I very specifically put what to write and it's very disappointing. I had to scrape off all the lettering and refrost the top.
Contrary to what the owner is saying, the writing was NEVER confirmed to my husband. How unfortunate that you would lie about this fact.
They also asked me to come back when I had thirty minutes until the event. Like sure, let me postpone because you couldn't get the cake correct.

I was stunned by a sampling of Cara Mia’s vegan cupcakes at a birthday party recently and then flabbergasted to learn they were right up the road in Lomita. The hits just kept on coming as I visited the bakery and was GOBSMACKED by the variety and quality of vegan cakes, cupcakes, and cookies.
This is not a drill and I’m not being hyperbolic. If you are vegan (or gluten free) and you live within 30 miles of this establishment, drop everything and go see for yourself! Every vegan treat they sell is sensational. I’ve been sampling vegan baked goods all over California for the past 24 years and I’m telling you: this place is SPECIAL.

The vegan snickerdoodle cookies is the best snickerdoodle cookies I eve had! Vegan carrot bites are moist and vanilla creamy top. Vegan Vanilla cupcakes were so delicious moist and pretty. Everything was so moist, creamy, not overwhelming sweet but just right. My boyfriend loved them too. I definitely coming back for a cake on a birthday or event.
