Absolutely fantastic... A family favorite, my mother turned me on to when I moved to lompoc forever ago. Angela is positively a gem . Attentive to the customer"s needs and by far excellent food!
Very good food. I've not had a relleno made from an Anaheim in a long time ( most Mexican I encounter in CA. uses a barely better than bell pepper pasilla) Ground beef enchilada was seasoned nicely.
Flour tortillas are fantastic
Great little spot for an excellent Mexican meal. I had the enchiladas and they were the best I’ve ever had. As a native Californian that’s saying a lot. Angela makes here own enchilada sauce and she gave me her secrets.
The refried beans were incredible too.

Based on the reviews, Angela's Mexican Restaurant is a great home made restaurant with super huge portions. The food is super yummy and unbelievably delicious. The Chile Colorado is a house specialty and some of the best food ever. The carne Asada is great. The corn tortillas are super thick, almost like an arepa, and made in house fresh with strong flavor. The mild salsa with the chips is lowkey better than the spicy one. The food is a great value. The ambiance is cute and cozy, and it feels like a home cooked meal. The ladies running it are friendly, and the owner is sweet and wonderful. It is not fancy or high brow, but a meal that tastes and feels like being welcomed into a Mexican home.
