Each and every visit to Montemar has left me feeling more whole. Sitting around the outdoor firepit over a bottle of GSM for the first time, I witnessed the sun setting over the backdrop of a sandy, loungechair-bedecked beach setting. Since then, traipsing through the passionfruit vines of the 'ghetto organic' gardens has transported me from the pavement of Chestnut Court to a sylvan shangri-la. Beautiful tasting room. Staff was very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. I arrived with my service dog and they are very welcoming. All the wine was excellent. Also if you love Pinot Noir you must go here. The have hands down the best Pinots I have ever had. 10 out of 10. Will be a repeat customer.
Our server was super informative about the wine. We got to tour the back area where they were processing a new batch of grapes. I was offered to pick some veggies from their garden. I loved tasting the Pinot flight. There was no food service due to COVID. We brought lunch, cheese and nuts. I will go back.
