I think it was the first saloon I ever saw in my life. Typically American. Just like the ones you see in the movies. I can't comment on the food because we only drank. We certainly had a lot of fun playing billiards and then another American game, on a long table sprinkled with salt where you have to throw pieces. I explained it really badly but it's absolutely fun and a must try!

It was early St Paddy’s day, a local tradition. So beer was served in plastic containers ?. But there was an awesome legit Irish Band from LA.Anyway, great staff and a fun bar. Didn’t try the food. But don’t miss this place!

Jake's Saloon is a great place to hang out. There pool tables, ping pong table, and more , lots of memorabilia on the walls, TV and a jukebox. Our bartender was wonderful! She was very informative about the local area.

I usually love Jake's. But the bartender last night was horrible. A local came in and say by me. Had a nice conversation, then he left. The bartender then told me "I don't like your friend, so I won't serve you next time you come in" I told her I don't even live here. She wasn't any more pleasant to the next group of out of towners who came in either.
Really chill. And Sarah is so cool. Gave us a lot of recommendations while we were in Lone Pine.

Little every local we spoke to, said we had to go to Jake's-- per one person don't be intimidated it's got locals and travelers alike and everyone is welcome. It's quite large space. We went around 6pm on a Saturday, pretty chill. They have pool tables, and shuffle board and tons of history on the walls.
