First time here! Got food from here last minute, took it home (35 min drive), and it was absolutely DELICIOUS! Oysters, Incredible and affordable. Fried Salmon, to die for.
The new Clam Chowder however, I gotta say it might be the BEST clam chowder I've ever had!

This is your typical hole in the wall place with great food and the ambiance is... outside in a parking lot. It has seating but would should not be judged by that. Their food is outstanding. My husband had the beef stick dinner and I had the salt and pepper shrimp. Both dinners came with lots of rice and some pickled veggies. My husband loved the beef sticks. Food is great, atmosphere not so, but I'm here for the food!!

When I arrived there was quite a few customers there thats always a good sign. I ordered the Seafood Chowder which was full of Seafood and flavor it also came with cheese and rice I also ordered chicken egg they were crispy and perfectly prepared Very satisfied customer

Crab 🦀 boil was tasty. Oysters are 3 for $10, you gotta season them yourself (so ask for butter or bring Ol' Bay w/ you). Chicken wings are decent, crispy and seasoned. I had the Thai Tea 🧋and a can of soda will cost you $2.🥤 Don't expect indoor seating, but since Long Beach has great weather year round you'll be fine eating at the outdoor lunch benches. Thankfully, they give you enough napkins. 🤧 Enjoy!

The food is decent, however, it’s on the sweeter side. We got the seafood boil, both spicy and mild, and it was more sweet than spicy. If it would have been less sweeter then it would have been perfect because the shrimp, muscles, and potatoes were cooked perfectly.

shack in the name is appropriate. it's a small, corner stand with only a little space inside for a chef and someone to take orders. but the food is really, really good. so good that my friends and I went there 2 days in a row. we enjoyed the fried whole Squid, short ribs, spring rolls, and several other dishes. you gotta try it!!
The service is terrible, and the taste is completely different from before. They must have changed owners.

Ate outside the shack, basic seating, seafood is excellent, as a group we had crab, shrimp, chowder- I LOVED the chowder (and I'm not normally a seafood kind of person). Would definitely recommend and would go back.
