Who was amazing definitely recommend fried rice combo. Only downside we only got two pieces of shrimp one for each person trust me we counted. Service was awesome food came quick fresh cooked as we waited. The one big downside was it's a great location but you going to deal with the Long Beach homeless and crazies walking the street as you order and I should wait for you because you're outside. But definitely worth the wait with the neighbors.Parking: They share the parking was Smoke Shop so people are in and out pretty quickly this might have to wait a minute for space to open up it's a small parking lot

Bought the crispy salmon. It tastes like the grease has never been changed. Also my fried salmon didn't smell good. Change your grease, so the fish won't taste old and burnt.

Best darn seafood shack in Long Beach! Has a Hawaiian shrimp truck vibe without the truck. It's also not Hawaii, but I think it's better! If you're in the mood for some delicious garlic shrimp, this is it! Other seafood options are also amazing like the whole squid. Outdoor seating only. Parking can be challenging, but if you're desperate, you can park across the street at the shopping center. Bon appetit!

Yyyyyummm. NE corner of Anaheim & Obispo. This spot serves up quality food you might not expect from a "shack." My friend Tracy and I have been here several times. Our favorites include the garlic shrimp and the lemongrass beef sandwich, but I honestly love everything I've had. The quality and quantity is absolutely great at a very reasonable price point. Service is kind and pretty quick. A&J is a small but nicely decorated food shack/stand with outdoor seating ONLY. (Many customers take it to go.) The parking lot is small, but doors turn over spaces pretty quickly as most tenants are quick-stop businesses. My only is that they are always sold out of the crab when I come by. I probably need to come earlier than dinner time!

Literally a shack! There's outside seating, though. I phoned in my order since I was down the street. They had my order ready by the time I got there. Parking is hectic in their lot. It's shared by a cluster of businesses, one being a smoke shop. I parked on the street. Area is questionable, but not the worst. The garlic shrimp and rice was good, nothing like Hawaii, but will do. Uniquely seasoned with garlic, butter, and other seasonings. Their combo fried rice was packed with chicken, shrimp, and Chinese sausages. That was good too paired with the chili sauce. I added a couple beef bbq sticks and while they were small, they were packed with flavor. I'd like to try the lobster and oysters next time! Prices are reasonable here and the girl at the window was really friendly.

Laid back simple vibe for the ambiance at this place. It's got a couple of tables for you to sit outside but not much because it seems like most people order to go. I wanted to try the food as fresh as possible so I ate there. I got the garlic shrimp. It was really good. The sauce in that shrimp was amazing I also though the slices of pineapple went really well with the dish. I would definitely recommend this place for some good seafood. The price wasn't too much for the portion and the quality was great. Next time I come here I'll try the chicken wings and another seafood dish.

You can't miss A&J Seafood Shack when you're driving on Anaheim. It's a small, bright blue building at the corner of a plaza. There's no indoor seating because it is a "shack". However, there's plenty of seating outside. There's also plenty of parking. No one really ate at the seating outside when we went because it was a cold and windy day, but it seems like a great place to sit and eat at on sunny days. You order through a window, wait a bit, and you receive your food through the window. The employee was very nice and helpful. I got the Garlic Shrimp, and it tasted great! I loved the sauce on the shrimp and the rice. I was a bit unsure about the pineapple, but after trying it with the shrimp, I understood why they went together. They sell a Cajun Bag which I am really interested in trying so I will be coming back!
