It is not the bakery of the 90's, nineties. Pastry dough was not buttery, but stiff. Pastry fillings were scare. Chocolate gritty and the Apple Crisp was apple rolled into a crust, wet like a pie. Will not be returning. Had not been there in years and didn't realize new owners had taken over. I would not recommend to anyone and am telling others who have not been there in recent years, DON'T GO!Parking: Parking on street in business area

This is a lovely neighborhood bakery! Lots of goodies to choose from. My son's birthday is Monday so we bought him his favorite red velvet cake. So very good! Got a few other treats to have with coffee in the morning. The staff was super helpful n nice. Can't wait to go in again.

We bought a cake from here and the icing literally tasted like LARD. No sugar, not sweet at all, just butter on the cake I'm so disappointed because we used to love coming here, but didn't realize ownership changed until we saw the reviews afterward. Don't waste your time.

This place is a gem of a bakery , the owner is super sweet! They have a wide array of fresh made from scratch pastries. The shop is kinda hidden on Atlantic. So use GPS if you are not local and you won't miss it. Everytime I go in they are fully stocked and if you need a larger order just call in advance! 5 stars all day.

Love their butter cookies!!!! If you like butter cookies, there are several options for you. I really like the chocolate chip butter cookie. Yummy chocolate croissants and chocolate chewy cookies. It's a spacious indoor space to look at their glass displays. The lady who is working here every time I go has been very sweet. A non-english speaking customer came in asking for a particular item neither of us were familiar with, and although she couldn't understand him, she handled the interaction super gracefully.. I appreciated her friendliness.

This place has some nice memories associated with it so I want to like it and want to give it a good review. The honest truth is their croissants are god awful. They are flat, not buttery, not Croissant-like at all. When discussing the mediocrity of them with my daughter we opined that it would be a better alternative to go to Costco and buy a big package of them, and then melt some chocolate chips inside. The eclairs however are quite good. Macarons pretty good too.

I'm slightly generous with the rating due to one item. We had but minutes to choose a quick pre-appointment snack as lunch. I'd read about their chocolate cookies and bought two. I would rate a 4 due to small size. Bf was an enthusiastic 5. My large cheese croissant also 4 in my opinion. Bf said another 5. Later on we shared a small slice of carrot cake. Probably my favorite carrot cake that I ever had. Mildly sweet, delicate cake with an added subtly flavored jam along with the icing in the middle. I'm ready to get an entire cake if there were the occasion. Hopefully, they would be affordable. Cost for two cookies, croissant and cake slice $10. Well worth it, once in a while. Curtious service.
