What an incredible dining experience! Our server Chase was outstanding - friendly, attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the food, and provided excellent suggestions. The hummus and pita bread were delicious, the "Yalanji" grape leaves appetizers were zesty and flavorful. We split the mixed mashawi skewers (chicken and kafta) as our main dish - delicious! And the mint lemonade was a perfect complement to our meal. I highly recommend Ammatoli, but make your reservation in advance!!! I made ours two weeks before our chosen date and there were limited times available. The restaurant is very popular - with good reason! - and a local friend told be we were lucky to get a reservation!

Top Tier Mediterranean food! The Garlic chicken is my favorite. The fresh pita bread is worth it! Get several orders of it! The place is so cute inside and the service is always on point! You won’t be disappointed

I dont get the hype .....way overpriced ! I ordered beef shawarma and it was not good ( not recommended ) the chicken was good..We only had water and small sprite for drinks ..the amount of food was really small ( kids meal portions) .. the place is noisy , small and crowded ...NO PARKING...I ended up paying $17 to park 2 blocks away ! you are required to make reservation and if you dont show up they charge you $20 PER person..!!so after all , I had lunch for 2 on a sunday for over $120 and everything was a C minus...I can not recommend this place at all...NO WAY ..I'm sorry but it is my honest opinion ..Parking: NO PARKING ... I parked 2 blocks away for $17

I honestly don’t write reviews but I have to share my sincere experience of dining at one of the best restaurants in Long Beach (LA) , and I must say, it was a WOW experience. Let's start with the food since I’m a Foodie person – each dish was delicious. I ordered the Mezza that had fresh traditional pita bread, Hummus, Baba Ganosh, Falafel, Kebbah, Batata hara and the masterpiece “Beet Labneh”. My main dish was Beef Shawarma so from the appetizers to the desserts, every bite was a taste of Middle East. Everything was Authentic. Every ingredient was fresh, and the flavors were expertly balanced like not too spicy or salty. The service – it was flawless. Michael was our waiter, he was friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our dining experience was perfect. And also the Manager Dylan, from the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and valued as guests, and the level of hospitality continued throughout the meal so Thank you Michael and Dylan. The ambiance of the restaurant was equally impressive. The elegant decor, soft lighting, and comfortable seating created a warm and inviting atmosphere that was perfect for a relaxing evening out. Whether dining with friends, family, or that special someone, the ambiance gives the idea of being in Middle East especially because I’m from Dubai I felt that way.I must mention the owner Dima seriously her dedication and passion were clear that she takes great pride in her establishment. Her attention to detail and commitment to providing top-notch service were evident in every aspect of the dining experience.Very sweet young lady. Thank youOverall dining at this restaurant was truly a delight. From the exquisite food to the impeccable service, everything exceeded my expectations. It's no wonder this establishment is considered one of the best in Long Beach.I can't wait to return and try the Freekeh. ?

We stopped by there to have lunch there today. The host told us there is a 30-minute wait for dining, we asked about to-go order, and she said we can order by the counter and our food will be ready in 15 minutes. We went by the counter, and were 6-7 servers and a manager behind the counter busy.I understand they were busy, but all of them ignored me. Even they didn't asked me if I need help or anything. At least, one of them should have told us if they are busy, or something. After 15 minutes, my son went and told the host no one helped us.She went behind the counter, and spoke with one of the servers and again he ignored us.After 20 minutes one of them told us if you order it takes 30 minutes. It seems it is a popular restaurant, but they take advantage of it.Awful and disrespectful service. We didn't wait to order food because of their behavior.

Jordanian raised chef cooking outstanding Levantine Mediterranean food in a beautiful restaurant. Great service (a bit overwhelming for my european taste). Very expensive (also for my european standards). Amazing desserts.

Wow, the food, ambience, service - all were great. Maybe our favorite restaurant in the area so far! Pita bread was served hot from the oven, hummus was great and the best ever falafel I have had.

Food, atmosphere were fantastic! It was busy during brunch, making service a little slow and forgetful on drinks. I recommend hiring someone to handle coffee, tea, and non-alcoholic drinks. Until then, pack your patience. It's definitely worth it.Vegetarian options: Best Falafels!

The lamb chop was delicious. Nothing else was.The beet labneh was incredibly bland. It tasted like an unsweetened smoothie. It had real potential if they would add herbs or season it in any way…. But just beets mixed into labneh isn’t worth $15, nor is it particularly good. The salad we ordered had so much vinegar I could barely eat it.I didn’t care for the grape leaves but my boyfriend said they were good. The service was not great.Would not return.

Very good but certainly not exceptional. Ambiance is beautiful. Service is okay, and impersonal granted it was busy but still. Food certainly good but pricey and can't justify main plates being served without sides and bread.
