Arize Bistro – Long Beach’s Hidden Gem for Breakfast & Brunch!
My mom and I absolutely loved our experience at Arize Bistro in Long Beach! The owner, Pat, is so warm, funny, and welcoming. He makes you feel right at home. The atmosphere is beautiful, cozy, and comfortable, the kind of place you can sit back and truly enjoy your meal.
We had the mango pancakes and chicken & waffles, and both were incredible. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. On another visit, I tried the omelette, and it was just as delicious. You can really taste the quality and care in every bite. Can’t forget that pineapple mimosas either. Definitely had me feeling spicy.
Pat is amazing at what he does! Very attentive, genuine, and full of personality. Arize Bistro has easily become my favorite breakfast and lunch spot in Long Beach! As Ms. Long Beach, I’m always exploring local gems and this one’s a must-try for anyone who loves good food, good vibes, and great people.

The food was AMAZING! Got chicken and waffles and the fried tofu. The man at the counter (maybe the owner?) was absolutely so kind and friendly. The mimosas are 4x the regular size so a great deal. Highly recommend.

Most of the food we got was delicious especially the French toast and meat omelet. The spinach omelet was not good. The Thai iced coffee was nice and strong.

Owner is so attentive and cares about his place. I got the Thai iced tea and the chicken satay plate, which came with a kale salad and rice- a really nice, filling option that is still healthy if you need a break from fast food. Great neighborhood gem

We waited 30 minutes to get a table and another hour to receive our order. We did not receive much service and the waitress gave us rude looks when we asked about our food. The host was helpful and helped us when we needed to change our order. The food was good!
Is this the location of the infamous Popeyesgate 2017? I noticed chicken and waffles on the menu and wanted to ask if it's still Popeyes?

Asked for a couple glass of waters, was told not available and purchased bottles, to then sit right next to their free water dispenser, lol. The pay before receiving any service and prompt with tip is a bad sign for a sit down establishment. Had the Monte Cristo and was ok at best, not worth the price. Potatoes are horrible. You can taste the metal from the tap water they boil it in. They definitely boil it and fry it on the flat top to crisp it up. It was very under seasoned. I also read a review where the bacon tastes like cigarettes, lol. That would also describe the potatoes. The eggs also lacked any salt and tasted bland. Why were there no salt and pepper at the table or offered any sauces? The Dirty Chai was milk with a hint of Chai that came out lukewarm. Not necessarily their fault, but homeless and trash around the establishment made for an eerie walk from car. Don’t understand the high ratings, maybe it’s for the lunch items.

Phenomenal!!! I saw them on IG and decided to come by. Excellent experience! I got lucky I went when it was empty seeing reviews that it could take a while to be seated was what concerned me the most with 2 babies. It was 6 adults and my 2 babies and the owner hurried and put 2 tables together for us. We got our drink orderes first and they where all amazing. I wasnt much of a fan of the butterscotch cold brew but we also got : -Caramel latte 8/10 -Thai tea 10/10 -Thai tea coffee w/ matcha foam 10/10 -Starburst lemonade 10/10 (leeche, passion fruit and strawberry) -Strawberry cucumber 9/10 Once we got our food we noticed how big the portions where and we where amazed by it but it didnt stop their ill have to admit this is the best chicken and waffles I have ever had! Everything we got was honestly a 10/10 no complaints whats so ever!
