This place has the worse service in the world. After even trying to simply have a conversation with the manager Kimberly she instantly through the race card. "It doesn't have to do with your race or anything" uhm???? That was uncalled for after we explained my friend had a headache and put her head down for just two seconds. Then she made it a point to bring over two more guys to tell her she's not allowed to order anything when she didn't order anything in the beginning. Worse experience in the world, be better ballast point.

Beautiful restaurant with a gorgeous view. Ordered fries and Sculpin IPA. The price of fries was too high. The serving of fries was big but still $9 was too much.

The food was amazing! The service was slow but they were JAM packed. They are first come first serve for tables so when we went on a saturday night we had to stand around a while to get a table for 8 while we saw plenty of tables for 6 or 8 being taken by only two guests. They really need to re-think that decision. All in all food was fantastic, Drinks were good and the view is A+

Absolutely such a great place to bring friends and family together. It's super spacious. There's indoor, outdoor and upstairs seating. You could even rent the outdoor upstairs space for an event. All the dishes were delicious especially the fries and the steak nachos. Beer never disappoints and the service was great! There's a QR code menu and you can order it on your phone and then the food is brought out in a timely manner. In addition, it's next to the water so that's always a bonus! Great place to grab a drink and watch the sunset. I highly recommend!

Thursday the restaurant opens at 11am and was almost empty but filled up. It was a peaceful ambience to see boats go by. Staff was friendly and food came quickly. I enjoyed the tender calamari and my husband's beer, Speed Boat Beer, a very complex caramel with a rich flavor. I made the mistake of ordering lavender kombucha, purple color, which is not their specialty. It was very sour. Husband had a regular burger ($17) and I had a beyond burger ($17) both were average. 4 stars mainly because impressive beer, if it was the same flavor, I would buy at a Grocery.

Most people come here for the view and I would say it's a 10/10. Good drinks and small plates and friendly service . Parking does suck but that is to be expected.

This is a harbor side microbrewery with lots of indoor and outdoor seatings. It even has a gift shop for the store's memorabilia. Plenty of parking in front. Special room is available for private events. We attended one such event on a Monday afternoon. They served many varieties of beer plus other beverages like hard tea, hard cider, kombucha and etc. Food for the event was served buffet style. We started with a mixed veggie salad with 2 choices of dressings. The balsamic vinaigrette dressing was really good with the crisp salad. The biscuit served was flaky and good. Main entrees included Mesquite season strip steak and Hickory smoked Pork Belly burnt ends. Both were not remarkable. Side dishes included baked beans and Mac and Cheese. Baked beans were tasty and the Mac and Cheese was good with lots of cheese. Desserts included chocolate brownies and chocolate chip cookies. The brownies were studded with chunks of chocolate pieces. Both desserts were a bit on the hard side. Servers that attended our event were excellent , courteous and attentive. One promptly answered our request for additional chairs and provided drinking water without us asking. If you like special brews, this is the place to hang out!

All right, where do I start?.. not my first time, and certainly not my last. Upon arrival we are greeted with a friendly calm demeanors of Nate and Antonio whom were friendly, timely and full of information. Literally sitting right on the water Watching sail boats and shells (rowing sport) cruise in, background music and atmospheric chatter ! Palm trees across the bay wave hello As we and dogs are perfectly crisped wings (order the sauce on the side) absolutely never a disappointment

First time ever trying Ballast point and this place is a very convenient place. Service : the service was simple and easy , you order and pay for your meal, drinks and desserts on your phone . Once its place the waiters comes out with your meal and you can just enjoy either dinner or lunch with the family without worrying about having the waiter wait on you to order or constantly checking on you like other restaurants which is kinda nice. The only thing is that they take forever to bring out your meal. I kinda was hoping that they bring everyone that's in your tables meal all at once so no one is waiting to eat while everyone else is eating Food: the food was subpar. My husband and I got the nachos , chicken sandwich and their burger. All three food was very fulfilling but I feel like next time I come back here I wouldn't get the chicken sandwich and probably try something else on their menu. Ambiance: the ambiance is pretty relaxing . The restaurant has a nice ocean view and it gives off chill sports barish kind of feel. All and all the place is okay I'd come back to try what else they have to offer on their menu

I love coming here during my lunch breaks. I usually sit at the bar close to a plug-in for my laptop. They always have the best beers drafted. I also like to get their kombucha and but mainly their hazy IPA been coming here more often since I found it last year. The team is so cool my favorite bartender is Lou.! I love the ocean view it has & so if you ever have time to catch a sunset for sure go here!

Ballast Point is not the new kid on the block when it comes to craft beers, the beers are solid but nothing trendy. The food is passable, pass on the pizza, order the calamari or nachos. And come for the views, they are gorgeous.
