Very nice. I've been going here for over 10 years. My go-to dish is pork katsudon. I've never found another one quite as good.Parking: Sometimes parking is a bit tight.

I have been going to this restaurant for 35 years. The food continues to be consistently good. The owner Japanese Chef works in the kitchen . The best tempura for me! I love the salmon sashimi rice! They use chicken without antibiotics. They use good ingredients that’s the reason why chicken tastes so good.

No frills Japanese restaurant. I kind of expected more but got less. I ordered chicken udon and a ito en cold green tea. The udon broth was too intense for my taste. I was completely disappointed by the udon. You can tell from the picture that the sauce is off. Service was ok. They have ample parking in front.

Great place for take out or dine in. I enjoy their tempura and chicken teriyaki. Nice folks working there. My only minor complaint is that their to-go soft drink cups are very small and there is only one size. Recommended.Parking: Not a lot of parking, can be a little tight.

A local fave! Easy plaza parking. Casual dining . Order at the counter first before taking your seat. Customer service was appropriate. We ordered the chicken curry, chicken katsu curry (came with side salad) and the happy hour price for the California roll, spicy tuna roll. Curry is yummy! Katsu had great texture. The rolls were fresh, good as well. The individual pieces were a slightly on bigger side, my cheeks were big, I looked like a chipmunk when I was eating them lololol. Great chill spot. Bring the fam!

My friend and I tried about 4 items and everything was a hit! The curry is on point!! So much flavor without burning your mouth. Good quality, amazing taste. My friend said their curry was just the same as he would get in Japan!Their hot soba was delicious, gyoza, Yakiyori bowl. Everything delicious and flavorful. Prices are really good for the quality and quantity, especially compared to other places

First and last time! I will never go back to this establishment. I have been passing up this place for over a decade. I decided to go today (11-1-2023) around 430pmsh. Not a good idea. This place left a bad taste in my mouth. First impressions are everything to me.I walked in, no greeting. The cashier just looked at us while talking to her other co workers. She looked irritated liked she just just loved her job lol. 8 mins went by, with nobody in line, She (Nathalie.V) finally took our order. Since she was occupied with some phone orders and socializing at the same time with other servers, which I guess is understandable for the wait time we experienced?? Hmmm..SmhAfter our order was placed. Waited 15 minutes for our food, which was delivered to our table. No utensils were provided. Walked to the front. I was put on hold, so another server was walking around. I asked her for utensils and she just ignored me. I asked again and finally got acknowledged! she rolled her eyes, then finally handed my utensils. That server in description (Chunky Short Latina) is rude, she is the one barking orders in this establishment. Speaking loudly. She needs to learn common courtesy and simple etiquette. We finished our food, which was just ok, since the attitude of that particular server just ruined my entire experience, the food i was eating no longer gave me enjoyment to indulge in the flavor this establishment had to offer. There was one nice server, which this one star is well deserved. She was kind enough to say, can I take your plates and give you anything else. Very nice. I believe her name was Gasel or Gresal. ?? But she was nice. The short Chunky latina can learn a thing or two from her since she demonstrates by example on how good customer service should be performed. SmhThe parking is alittle sketchy since you have a few homeless people roaming around. Traffic can be congested, pending the time of day you arrive such as rush hour. The establishment itself is a little runned down and can use some updating to attract more customers.Overall, my experience was not good and I would not recommend this place due to the rude behavior this one particular server exhibited. A hard pass for me. Go at your own risk, your experience maybe better then my experience. "Just saying."

I love this place. The lunch specials and Ichiban dinner special are such a great value. Go on Tuesdays if you like tempura b/c they have great deals and on Thursdays they have additional lunch specials. The food is very home-style which I find comforting. Don't come here expecting Michelin star, gourmet, fancy food. (The only complaint I have is sometimes the rice is a little undercooked but nothing that nuking it in the microwave with some water can't fix. )I love to call ahead to pick-up for lunch. It usually take about 15-20 minutes. The people at the front desk are always nice.

This long-standing mom and pop restaurant is the best place to get Japanese food that is cheap and really tasty. The service is quick and it feels so homey inside. I would recommend their lunch special as it gives you a bit of everything, and it hits the spot every single time, especially if you are ravenous.
