Hi to everyone of you!
Being deaf, I arrived and waited at the front desk, but the employee ignored me as I waited for the next table and talked to someone else. He never came back and was really impolite! Once more,
I had no issues using it there until the woman became extremely rude!
Then I discovered this Hole Mole restaurant, which made me happy. I will definitely return here because of the welcoming staff! Do not ever return to BlackBird!

I rate a breakfast place by their cup of coffee. It was a good cup of coffee, nice and smooth. French toast was great. The Matador Omelet was delicious! Service was great. Absolutely would come back!

Me and my wife decided to come to this restaurant due to the reviews about the food. We ordered the Carnitas Torta, the Spicy Mexican Omelette, and the French toast. I myself am not a huge fan of soy chorizo and believes it gives it an off taste to the food. The carnitas torta tasted more like a pulled pork sandwich, which although not too bad it was not what I was expecting in the sense of taste. I only ate half of the torta due to that reason. The French toast was indeed very good. Nice and spongy. Did a great job soaking up the syrup and butter taste. The staff was great and friendly, providing great costumer service. The restaurant was in mid renovation so the atmosphere was quite blend, also kinda hot inside. Although it was not bad at all, I don't see us going back any time soon.

We have visited the Blackbird cafe in Long Beach on two occasions. Today, Friday 8/23, was the 2nd time and it was fabulous as ever! Our server Annette, was friendly, fast and delightful to speak with. My sister and I split an Italian sausage Omelette and the P-nut butter oat pancakes. The ingredients were fresh and the servings are generous. Try the Blackbird, they will not disappoint.
A co-worker and myself tried this cafe for the 1st time for breakfast this morning! Let’s just say we found a new breakfast spot. We both got breakfast burritos hers with shrimp, soy etc. I got a that Barbacoa breakfast burrito with spicy ranchero sauce. The 1st bite we were both hooked! This cafe cooks with FLAVOR! OMG we were bSO pleased with our choices and will be trying other menu items soon! Tasty!

Super cute place, no wait for a table about noon on a Saturday, so that was refreshing. The parking was easy. The food was so good, highly recommended the burritos, tried 2, and they were so well prepared and seasoned. Very nice staff and cute interior too.
