Stopped into Bliss on my way to get my nails done next door. Got my usual drink—an iced vanilla almond milk latte. This one tasted spectacular and I found out it’s because they make their own vanilla syrup with REAL vanilla beans! Wow! Coming back soon!

I always go to Higher Taste for the hemp kale bowl (with tofu instead of tempeh) and the avocado jalapeño burger and noticed today they opened up a coffee shop on the far end of the restaurant. Asheesh the barista working recommended the "bliss brew" because I wanted something a little chocolaty with my lunch. And my oh my, he was right! Sweet but not too sweet, with just a hint of vanilla. I'll definitely be back for this epic treat--thanks Asheesh for putting a little pep in my step today!

Bliss lives up to its name! The matcha latte I had was just that—pure BLISS! So excited about this new plant-based coffee shop. No up-charge for oat or almond milk, as it should be. This new spot is inside Higher Taste (fka Long Beach veg staple “Ahimsa”) and is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. The vibe is bright, clean and full of LIFE with plants and vibrant paintings adorning the walls and windows. I’ve over the completely “sad beige” & whitewashed vibe of most coffee shops—this spot nails cozy, clean and cute.

Went in this morning to try something new and I was pleasantly surprised! The coffee was super good. I got drip coffee and liked it so much I got an americano. Then I had to try a sweet drink and they made me a mocha, and it was perfectly balanced. I got a donut on my way out and can’t wait to come back!
Had coffee on the opening day, the vegan latte was actually perfect and I really enjoyed it as much as a milk one!
