The food was good. The service was great.I had an order or Carne Asada fries, along with a chicken quesadilla and a cucumber pineapple agua(water). The fries were well seasoned, and the meat was cooked well, not dry or bland. The chicken quesadilla was also good, nothing too amazing or out of this world. Typical chicken quesadilla. The cucumber pineapple water was a bit sweet for my taste but good. Their salsas were actually pretty good in flavor. They had a strong lemony taste. The guacamole was literally nothing other than mashed to avocado with some lemon. But it didn't have the Pico de gallo that you'd normally expect in a guacamole salsa.

You'll either get a lot of students from CSULB nearby, or staff from the college or hospital across the street. So time your visits wisely.I didn't get their burritos, but I got their Carne Asada Taco and Peppermint Shake.Shake is nice and thick! The taco is over $4, BUT these aren't tiny tacos. They're like ¾ the size of my hand with my fingers spread out. Pretty good! Loaded up on the guacamole too! Red sauce was interesting, because it was smoky but also slightly sweet.Pro-tip: Ask for a fork for the tacos, contents will slip out for sure! ?

Food (4.5/5) - Anything Adobada is so good. First visit, had their Adobada burrito and Adobada fries, so delicious. I wish they kept their peach cobbler shake, it was also really good but limited time only. **Don't try their blue horchata, it's disgustingService (4/5) - Employees are pretty helpful everytime I go thereAmbience (4/5) - The aesthetic of the place looks cool. Pretty clean.

I was surprised how much I enjoyed my lunch at this not-so-fast casual eatery. Their menu is small, mainly serving tacos, burritos, fries, rolled tacos (taquitos), and milkshakes. The simple, modern interior is quite small with maybe half a dozen tables with traditional Mexican music blaring through the speakers. I ate there but noticed most of the business was take-out.I placed my order at the front counter with a very nice woman. I decided to have five rolled tacos and a blue horchata milkshake. It took close to ten minutes for my order to be ready. The woman was very apologetic about it taking so long so I think it's usually quicker than that. The rolled tacos were fantastic. Crispy tortillas rolled around shredded beef and covered with heaps of guacamole, sour cream, tomato, onions, lettuce, and cheese. Messy and delicious, these were easily in the top tier of taquitos I've enjoyed. The horchata milkshake was incredible. It was the world's best horchata transformed into a shake (and colored blue). I loved it.A look on the interweb looks like it is a small chain which I hope continues to expand somewhere much closer to where I live.

Here I am again giving one of my favorite places to eat another review. Easy parking, always clean and great customer service. It's a nice little shopping center as well. There's a target , dry cleaners, nail salon and other great places to eat I see they have a new employee her name is Francesca what a little sweet heart always so happy and smiling. If anyone is interested in trying any of the burritos my favorite it's the "California " I have them add guacamole to itYummmmy!! The burritos are big and very filling You won't be disappointed. We have also tried the quesadilla's very good as well. I hope that my reviews help others to make a good decision and try Blue Burro.

I wanted everything about this to be good! Carne asada burrito, surf and turf quesadilla. Mostly tortilla in both. Like the burrito was almost double wrapped in the same tortilla, TINY.. Not enough contents in either and pretty expensive for both. Ingredients tasted great, but the cooks are making wimpy dishes here. Y'all are close to Wilmington, you want to stay open and thrive, better up that game. No wonder it was almost empty on a Saturday night here. Hyped social media game, massive let down. Great atmosphere, great beer selection on tap. But unfortunately I won't be back.
