This was my first time at Broken Spirits distillery. Came oodles of times at Portuguese Bend distillery so it the restaurant is similar yet different at the same time. Major differences for me: I feel like this is more of a BBQ based restaurant/distillery with all the meat on the menu. (Don't get me wrong, I love the meat!). We ordered and shared the 16 oz prime New York steak ($44.99) which also comes with two sides! This is a killer deal that I would def come back for. For sides we got broccolini and fried Brussels. ( Alone they're $7 side). TBH, I kind of enjoyed the sides a bit more than the entree itself, but both were great.

Cocktails were yummy too as they were about avg price for LA county at $14 each. Came fast and tasted great!

There is plenty of seating inside and service was great. Parking is close in the garage across the street if there is no street parking.

If you're on the area, I would def stop by here!

By Far, A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! THE WAITRESS HAD NO KNOWLEDGE OF MENU. I ASKED HER A QUESTION SHE GAVE ME FALSE INFO. THEN WHEN I WANTED TO Have Manager Correct the Mishap , He did NOTHING!! I NEVER ATE DEEP FRIED BROCCOLI! BY THE WAY ( THE MENU DOES NOT READ DEEP FRIED!! THE Place Deep Fried Broccoli and the manager refused to steam it. Normally I wouldn't make a big deal out of something like this, However I ordered the most Expensive thing on there MeNu.. It WAS HORRIBLE. DONT EAT THERE!!

The brisket was really good here. Service is great. Great place to dine

I loved what I ordered but not everyone in my group liked theirs. For example the street corn was different and not use to it served that way. But overall good food and service.

Some of the best food I've had in a while! Delicious birria tacos and burgers, and the sides (Mac and cheese and potato salad) were awesome. Great drinks and great service also!

Best thing going in Long Beach at the moment. Great food choices, affordable cocktails and incredible staff. Food open late too. Host was incredibly nice.

Great food and drinks. The bar staff was super friendly and welcoming especially the director of beverages! The music was on point for Friday happy hour.

Had the old fashioned to celebrate my friend’s birthday and it was delicious. My favorite was the ube cheesecake.

Ordered their Thai sweet chilli wings, garlic parm wings, bird is the word burger with waffle fries.

Will be back to try other menu items!

The food was very good. The atmosphere was nice. But oh, dear, Gosh…. The toilets were horrifically filthy and disgusting.
Will never step foot in this place ever again.

The phone did not eat first it looked too good! We had an incredible experience here. The food is phenomenal and the staff is very kind! I had a chicken sandwich and my boyfriend had the pastrami—both were fantastic!! Definitely visit this spot!

I had a very disappointing experience at Broken Spirits Distillery, all thanks to the manager's terrible attitude. I’m not one to leave negative reviews lightly, but the rudeness and unprofessionalism were too much to ignore.

The manager was dismissive from the start, acting as if any question or request was a personal inconvenience. I was taken aback by the complete lack of courtesy or basic customer service. It felt like we were bothering him just by being there.

A simple situation escalated because of his unwillingness to listen or help. Instead of resolving the issue calmly, he became defensive and hostile, leaving the whole experience with a sour taste.

I won’t be returning anytime soon and wouldn’t recommend this place if you value good service. There are plenty of other spots in Long Beach that know how to treat their customers with respect—this isn’t one of them.
