Such a cute place!!! Delicious food, good wine and very attentive to their guests!
It is a very small place so be prepared to be close to your neighbors table. However, that makes the whole atmosphere 👌
We are definitely coming here again to try more from the menu!

A well-recommended place for Italian specialities, the cafe seemed cute and unassuming. But staff simply stared at us when we arrived, then one made a vague gesture for us to sit anywhere. The wine was good. Salad was uninspired and served on a plastic plate. My veal needed a steak knife, which I did not have. The pasta was gummy and flavorless, in a generous serving. Green beans were quite tasty. The plates disappeared with a speed that made us certain our table was needed for the next party. A truly dreadful experience.

Took my friend out for her birthday dinner. GPS directed us to parking a block over but there were spots right in front of the restaurant. We arrived right before opening time, so we were the only ones there; there are about 10 tables and a very small kitchen, so it has a cozy and intimate ambience. The owner warmly greeted and seated us, brought us water and warm bread with butter. We ordered the fresh bruschetta for an appetizer and the delicious lasagna for our entree, which came with a salad with raspberry vinaigrette. For dessert, we ordered the smooth chocolate mousse cake and citrusy lemoncello cake. All of the food was SO GOOD; I can honestly say this was the best lasagna I've ever eaten at a restaurant and even better than my own. The owner and server were perfectly attentive and we had a delightful visit. I would 100% return and highly recommend! Was so hungry that I didn't get pictures.
*The only improvement would be to the bathroom/storage room: you have to walk through the kitchen to use it, it's a tight squeeze, the lock doesn't work, there were no paper towels, and the doors on the vanity cabinet were broken. I initially asked for the code to the bathroom in the hall next to them but he said I could use theirs.

Amazing authentic Italian experience. The bread was warm and the butter portions were generous. The caprese was light and fresh. Chicken Marsala was delicious. The Micheangelo was very good, as well. We paired it with a bottle of Montepulcciano. ?? The orange cheesecake with raspberry was our favorite. We also had the hazelnut chocolate cheesecake, which was good but thick and heavy. This is our new favorite spot.

Legit Italian, probably the Best you will ever have outside of Italy, no joke! I have had many dishes here and they have been equally wonderful! Owners and Staff are super friendly, cleanliness and food quality is above and beyond, and reasonably priced. For sure if your craving italian, this is the place! Street parking is well..street parking, guess you cant have it all..after all it is in the cut on 2nd street .

A very special place! We've been trying to get in for quite a while and finally got lucky. I'm certain the locals wouldn't want me sharing, but this is one of the best places in the area. All four meals were excellent. Wine prices are quite reasonable. And everyone working there felt like family.

The calamaretti and articiocco are amazing, sauces feel light but full of flavor. I ordered the principesa, veal was very tender and the mushroom/onion sauce was incredibly rich. Staff are nice and attentive!

I live in Long beach and my brother coming to town from Indiana and he said he want Italian food, i said all the Italian food that i know closed on Monday so i let him pick the place and he said come meet at Cafe Gazelle. All i can say this place is truly gem. I wasn’t hungry at that time but i ate all of what we ordered and it was super delicious. Best Carbonara i have ever had.
