I was having a rough day and really needed some caffeine and a snack. I walked in and the environment was immediately cozy, calm, and inviting. This kind woman answered all of my questions and recommended me a beverage with coffee infused ice cubes!! It was extremely delicious and my new favorite coffee by far! (Coming from a Starbucks barista's perspective). I also had a cini mini, and it was a perfect, sweet little snack to pair with my coffee. Thank you for a great experience, y'all just earned a new regular!

A local deli / cafe in Long Beach. I only had the tuna melt. The portion size was generous and had a lot of tuna with melted cheese. I am still stuffs a few hours after I finished it.Decently priced too, as the total was $11.25 including tax.Parking: Plenty of street parking right outside.

This is definitley my favorite cafe / sandwich shop! I don't live close by at all, but I keep coming back! My favorite is the bacon breakfast croissant & the turkey club sandwich with bacon. Everything tastes super fresh! They also have great coffee, yummy pastries, homey decor, & super friendly staff! I highly recommend Cafe Lorel!

Got two sandwiches. My husband liked his. Mine was okay, but was not really a big fan of pickles in my tuna melt. However, the sandwich stayed warm and the cheese was nice and gooey and melty. I might come back to try another sandwich. I got a cookie and a brownie, those were really good. Little expensive, but still reasonable and quality was about what I would expect for price paid.Parking: Mostly 10 minute parking

Awesome fresh food and lattes. Stayed at a nearby hotel while traveling and had to make multiple trips to Cafe Lorel because it was so good.

Vegetarian or vegan people, you absolutely must try the vegan Mediterranean sandwich here. It's not everyday that I find a good sandwich as a vegetarian. House nut-free pesto with hummus and all the veggies. So so good. Also great iced coffee. Thank you Cafe Lorel!

Cute little place, have been wanting to try for a long time. Did not feel very welcomed by the woman at the front -guessing the owner?- for a couple of reasons. My salad was a nice size and the croutons were really good! The two sandwiches that were ordered by the rest of my lunch party were okay. The woman who bought them to our table was very nice. Due to the lack of warmth several times before and during our ordering with the woman at the front and the food just being okay, I doubt we will be returning.
