Homey restaurant that serves up fresh homemade El Salvadoran food. Everything was fresh and good. The fried plantains with black beans and eggs with fresh tortillas I feel we're meant for pupusas which works for me. CASH ONLY. Street parking only with locals as most customers like myself. Hole in the wall special!! And know the homeless try to come in and beg for money which is interesting because the paying customers just ignore. Provecho.

They take forever to give you the food even if you call ahead of time to order. They always give me wrong order.

I started to visit this place since 1997. The pupusas are my favorite. I chose the mixed pupusas there's so much flavor in them. I do recommend it. I imagine the beef soup is delicious. My sister had the breakfast plate which was also delicious! I am far away from them every time I am in California is the place to go. It's a small place bring patience with you 😂.

Perfect pupusas. Wonderful tortas even better service/owner. We'll be back next time we're in LB area. This is not a fancy place, this is authentic and just what we wanted.

I was enticed to come here because of their cheap prices on their pupusas. If I remember correctly, they’re about $3.25 each!!! Amazing price point, considering most places charge $5+ for each one. I ordered to go. I open it up and it looked good. However, to my disappointment, I tried to cut my pupusa and struggled with cutting it. Pupusas shouldn’t be hard to cut? I flip it over and I find that the other side of the pupusa was left on the stove for too long, causing the pupusa to get overcooked. It wasn’t burnt, but it was definitely overcooked. So much so that even the cheese that usually oozes out was so overcooked I couldn’t even bite into the cheese without it being crunchy and not good at all!! That’s my favorite part is eating that cheese that comes out from the sides :/ I checked all 4 and they were all like that. One side was perfect, the other side was too well done. I called to let them know that for next time PLEASE pay attention to the cook time. I really want to give this place another chance because the are very reasonably priced but I would really like for them to not skimp out on quality of the food. Will try again in the future and follow up..
