The food is always delicious. I ordered a short rib plate as we would like to share. It came with two ribs .One of them was a regular size. The second one was half of size and half of it was fat. It as disappointing to us. This is a big difference from last time we came.

The food here is great, correction, AMAZING!! The server we had on our day was just ok. While making great recommendations, he was a bit curt.

CaliChilli might call itself “unauthentic,” but it’s definitely serving up some creative comfort food. I came for lunch on a quiet Sunday and was the only customer when I arrived—seated right away, no wait (a rare win in Long Beach!).

I ordered the Cali Chilli Chicken Pot Pie, garlic naan, and a cocktail. The pot pie was creamy, flavorful, and honestly, I could've just dipped the naan in that all day and left happy. The chicken inside was a bit dry, which took it down a notch, but overall still enjoyable.

The staff was super friendly and attentive. Despite the small hiccup, I’m planning to come back and try more from the menu!

Lovely lunch! Lamb biryani was beautifully presented, very tasty and enough for lunch today as well. We ate in the enclosed alcove in the front, which afforded us the ability to have a conversation without competing with the ambient music. Our host was perfectly attentive and allowed us to enjoy our meal.....he showed up at just the right times with just the right things. All in all a delightful afternoon with great food and service.

The moment you walk in the sent of spices tantalizes your mind and taste buds. The food is incredibly tasty. Lamb Chops are excellent. Butter chicken clay Pot is out of this world. The Lamb Biryani is a must have. On and on and on. A must try

I dined here today and was pleasantly surprised how amazing the food was!
The butter chicken pot pie and old style chicken tikka were both flavorful and good but the Lamb dum biryani stole the show! The lamb was cooked to perfection. It was succulent, full of flavor and falls right off the bone. I can’t wait to come back and try some of their other lamb dishes on the menu!

Never disappointed. Always fantastic- this evening we tried the Lobster panang chef special with a panang sauce that would make most Thai restaurants envious.

This was my first time here, just sisters escaping the long work week. The ambiance and decor are nice and calming. I ordered two drinks because I could not decide which one I wanted, so why not get both? I ordered The Purple Rain, which was okay. I loved the Mango margarita; it was really delicious and spicy. My sister and I ordered the Chicken Tikka, which was very soft, melted in your mouth and extremely flavorful, amazing with the garlic-flavored bread. We also ordered the Cali Nachos and Sticky Korean ribs. I loved the Sticky Korean Ribs, it was soft and flavorful, melted in your mouth, it reminded me of my mom's ribs, my sister didn't like it so much. The food here was delicious, tender and flavorful. The manager was great; he came to check on us a few times and gave us his recommendations, and everything he recommended I had in mind. He was very attentive and nice. I do not want to butcher his name, but it starts with an M. I will definitely be back and bring my mom. The price was great! Lastly, we ordered the Chai tiramisu. I wasn't a fan, but my brother-in-law enjoyed it and said, “Rich creamy flavor, and the fluffiness.” Thank you for a great experience. I will be back.

This restaurant deserves more than 5-stars for its food and ambiance. Their menu is unconventional but very high on taste and quality. I had the Baigan (aubergine) Lasagna and Amritsari Kucha and my partner had the short ribs.

Both food and beverages are well priced. It’s a shame we didn’t get any pictures till almost half the food was over.

They have a week day special lunch at $30 which provides a good mix of dishes I’m definitely going to try that next time.

The staff are friendly and the service is good. Highly recommend this place and will definitely visit again with family and friends.

5 stars for food, 2 stars for service. The food is amazing and is the only thing that keeps bringing us back despite the horrible service. Been hear many times, and not once have we ever had good service. There only seems to be 1 or 2 servers for dinner so I imagine they are spread very thin.

The service could be a little more attentive The restaurant was empty, just 3 tables for Saturday lunch. Had to keep looking to get the wait staffs attention as they kept disappearing near the kitchen and chatting
