Just visited this amazing place on August 5th! 𤤠We devoured chicken momos, dahi sev puri, dum chicken biryani, chicken rendang, and garlic cheese naan. Every single dish was a flavorful #Food #Momos #Biryani #Foodie #Dinner

This place is super amazing. The food was outstanding as was the service. The manager was very attentive. We came for dinner with another couple for Dine LA. The amount of food served was incredible as was the menu selections. Definitely coming back.

Went here for lunch and got seated quickly. We ordered our food and it took almost 1 hour for the food to come. We went on a weekday and it looked like 2 people in the kitchen and 1 server so it couldāve been they were short staff. Regardless, they couldāve communicated that thereās some delay or let us know ahead of time if thereās going to be a wait.
As for the food, I got the truffle chicken masala and old school chicken masala. The old school chicken masala was okay, was on the salty side. The truffle chicken masala was super dry and tough. The sauce didnāt taste like truffle and felt more like an Alfredo sauce.

Absolutely delicious Indian food. The biryani was delicious flavorful and came in big portion. My friend had the lamb pot pie and she absolutely loved it. The naan is amazing as well. The ambience is pretty upscale and the service was great. Highly recommend this spot.

Very creative menus, quality food, small portions as in all gourmet. We be back to try the interesting menu items. No free Naan refills. Nice complementary birthday desert for wifey. Very nice touch.

Iāve been here around 3-4 times. The food is great, Iāve always enjoyed the dishes Iāve had here. It seems like service has gone downhill. My last visit was so disappointing. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt, but the main server was consistently dismissive and rude throughout the night. Despite enjoying the meal, we left feeling upset and confused by how we were treated.

Delicious. Cauliflower bites to begin and the eggplant lasagna were amazing. Husband's lamb shank was yummy too.
Really good food and service. We had the chicken wings, quesadilla, lamb vindaloo, and Kerala fish. The garlic naans are the best I have ever had. Mango rose lassi was superb.

The food is phenomenal, but the service is horrendous. We had a reservation and they were prioritizing walk-ins. They offered the bar until we could get our table, which was 20 minutes later. We sat at the bar and it wasn't busy, but the bartender didn't even look at us until 10 minutes after sitting down. We didn't even get to order a drink there. Once we were seated at our table, then they took our order and 10 minutes later she came back with our drinks. They weren't even handcrafted drinks. The food came out fast. Our food actually came out BEFORE our drinks. I got the paneer pot pie, it's not a true pot pie. They just have filo dough over a pot. Pani puri was good and so was the short rib. I would eat here again, but for take out. Not worth the restaurant experience.
Our experience at Cali Chilli was nothing short of infuriating and completely unacceptable. We called ahead to reserve a table for a party of seven, including a baby, making it explicitly clear that we needed accommodations for an infant. Despite this, the staff assigned us a high bar-style table with stools, completely unsuitable for a baby. When we politely requested a low table to safely seat our child, we were told none were available. Fine, we thought, letās adaptāonly to be informed that even a high chair for the baby at the tall table was not an option because āthe baby wonāt fit.ā Are you kidding me?
Instead of owning up to their inability to accommodate us or admitting they were overbooked, the staff launched into a condescending lecture about how we called ālast minuteā and that āpeople reserve weeks in advance.ā If you didnāt have a table, why not just say so upfront instead of wasting our time and treating us like an inconvenience? The lack of transparency, professionalism, and basic customer service was appalling. Itās clear that Cali Chilli has no regard for families or common decency.
We left without dining, frustrated and insulted by the entire ordeal. Save yourself the hassle and avoid this place at all costs. There are plenty of restaurants that actually care about their customers and know how to handle a simple reservation. Cali Chilli is not one of them.

It had two people serving, cleaning and taking orders. One gentleman was making drinks and saw chatting with couple of groups. Saw one table piled with dirty plates and took about 10 minutes to clean that and seat us.
Glass smelled bad, table too.
Food was good and that was the only plus point.
They should put more people to take care of the service and also wash their glasses well so that it doesn't smell.
