Fabulous food and very pleasant restaurant. The puri poppers, butter chicken pot pie and chicken rendang were absolutely delicious - some of the very best Indian food I've ever had. And the tamarind martinis were unexpectedly tasty - moved to the very top of my favorite cocktails. This was my second visit, I can't wait to go back.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Long Beach, CA! The food is outstanding prepared by a master chef recognized by Michelin. Recently my wife and I took a friend there for a birthday celebration and were delighted with quality off the food and the service. I recommend this restaurant highly

It was great from the moment we walked in the door it smelled delicious service was great we were there for Ellie restaurant week the prefix had a great selection Great value for your money sorry no pics... Went for lunch and my husband was ready to stay for dinner Will definitely be back

If you like Indian food but want something a little more California and a little elevated, this is the place! The service is a little slowwww but the flavors are worth it.

Wide variety of fun cocktails and an astounding menu full of innovative dishes made for an amazing dining experience. Even though it was a weekday night I made a reservation just to be sure as I later found out it's super busy the latter part of the week and the weekend. Beautiful ambience unlike any other Indian restaurant I've ever been in. Started with the lamb stuffed Keema Methi Kulcha. I wanted to spread the delicious green whipped condiment on everything. We decided to share the Seabass and the lamb pot pie. Wow! So nice to find somewhere for amazing lamb.  The take on the tiramisu and the lava cake finished off an amazing evening. Looking forward to returning soon

Love this restaurant! My “go to” dining experience for Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve 2025! The cuisine, ambience, and service is outstanding. CaliChilli is a diamond that always delivers!

We are very fortunate to have this excellent restaurant in our area. Very well prepared and creative food served by people who seem to care about your experience. We always get the cauliflower fritters to start, but tried a few new dishes, including shrimp with grits and the quality and flavor was terrific. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Poor communication access, no responsible answer for not replying to message and not attending phone call. Not checking the reservation until last minute to accommodate people. As long their tables are busy don't care policy.

The food was exceptional. We ordered the Lamb Biryani, Lamb Chops and the Pork Vindaloo. Each dish was perfectly prepared and so so delicious. Noise level wasn't bad at all, but we were in a booth by the front windows, so we had a little bit of insulation. The atmosphere was very nice, more for a family dinner or gathering of friends, not so much a romantic spot. The service was a tad slow because there were only two servers and the restaurant was pretty full. The finale was dessert, which we chose Death by Chocolate. When the dessert came, all three of us were a little shocked at how small of a serving it was. My son actually laughed out loud a little bit. But, the taste was very good and oh so chocolatey. The name doesn't fit though as there wasn't enough to cause death by chocolate. 🤣 We will definitely go back again and try other dishes that we didn't get to this time. Oh, and the prices were pretty reasonable and comparable to similar restaurants. Overall rating: B+

Arrived and seated. Server was very nice. Let us know he was alone and that he was busy. Kudos to him for his efficiency as nothing was delayed. Food was delicious. We had Lamb Vindaloo, Beef ribs, and Chicken Biryani. Highly recommend eating there.

Probably my new go to spot for Indian food. Their slogan is "un-authentic" Indian food. They take traditional flavors & spices and basically remix classic Indian entrees. Trust me when I say, this is a must visit restaurant for all foodies. Service was top notch from Mara and the ambiance gives modern bar/lounge vibes but yet you feel right at home. My boss and I came right when they opened for lunch yesterday at 12pm and went family style. We ordered 2 shareable dishes and 2 large plates to get a variety of the menu. Everything was outstanding. I'll definitely be back soon to try other items on the menu and I'm going to bring a bigger group cause the place looks like you can have some major fun with their full bar. You can thank me later as I promise it will hit all the taste buds and check all the boxes. I forgot to take a pic of the lamb biriyani and that is a must order. It comes with a mini table side service to reveal the goods.

The food is always delicious. I ordered a short rib plate as we would like to share. It came with two ribs .One of them was a regular size. The second one was half of size and half of it was fat. It as disappointing to us. This is a big difference from last time we came.
