It was a great experience and I would highly recommend this place. We had the Mahi Mahi and the scallops, both were great. Service was good, the server was kind and very experienced. The only thing I would suggest is that they either upgrade the light fixtures or at least replace all the bulbs or something... nothing more annoying than florescent lights flickering over your head, while you are trying to enjoy some ambiance and a nice view, at $$$ restaurant.
We really enjoyed dining at the Chelsea Chowder House, everything was wonderful. The Queen Mary was a unique experience to see!
We had a wonderful time celebrating My daughter's 12th birthday. A beautiful view, great appetizers- the bread is surprisingly scrumptious! The food was delicious and the portions large. The birthday cake was sooooo yummy!
waiters were attentive and kind food was prompt displayed well and tasted beyond our expextations would reccomend and plan to visit again
Our server was the sweetest and very good. The seafood tower was disgusting. The crab claws were still a little frozen. The salmon was smoked salmon like you would put on a bagel. The oysters tasted off. Maybe we ordered the wrong thing but I thought a restaurant on a boat would have good seafood.
Beautiful city views. Fresh seafood. Well spaced tables. Friendly staff. Made the 70th birthday dinner special.
Steak dry overcooked, shrimp cocktail not enough servings for price not displayed elegantly, difnetly not jumbo quality
Made reservation months in advance. They were not very accommodating when I called to tell them that our flight had been delayed. They pushed our reservation back 15 min. They put us in this overflow area off the main dinning room. This room lacked the historical feel of the main dining room. Unfortunately the waiter also forgot we were there. Food was ok. I had clam chowder. I found it strange that it had clam shells in it. I didn't care how it made chowder taste. My husband's salad was drenched in dressing and our calamari was on the verge of being burnt. Did not complain at the time because we were rushed to go on a tour. I guess I expected more. I might try again if we are down there again.
Dinner for two. Ordered wine, dinner side salad, calamari, crab cakes and Cod (fish and chips). Calamari was good, crabcakes tasted fishy. Entree came out of kitchen minutes after our starters were served. Fish and chips were cold -- chips overcooked but cod was good. Overall felt rushed, was not offered a dessert menu, the bill came $160. Meh! I would not recommend.

Overall the food was pretty bad, bad enough to make us not want to come back. The swordfish was undercooked, the salmon was nothing special, and the vegetables and potatoes just had a weird taste to it. The lighting above the windows makes you feel like you’re in a subway car. Don’t recommend this restaurant.

Wow, what a great experience. I live about 20 mins away but never ate here, been to two other restaurants on the ship and have stayed overnight, always a great experience.
I want to give a BIG shout out to Ernesto at Chelea Chowder House!!! Extremely impressed with his service and politeness. Ernesto always had a smile on his face, was very kind and incredible customer service throughout the experience.
Only one thing I wasn't impressed with and I didn't mention it while I was there, so I won't say it here either, however it didn't really affect my experience and it had nothing to do with the service we recieved at the table.
Reservations were easy, and when we thought we might be late (made it with 30 mins to spare;) we were informed to call back to move the reservation.
Food was great, I really wanted some chowder, and it lived up to my expectations! Thank you for a great birthday dinner 😀
Ernesto is quite the gem, if he's not already a manager, he should be, and also be a trainer. It's hard to find folks that lead by example, thank you Ernesto!!
Was there 9.29 in the evening

The Clam Chowder was delicious. The Filet Mignon tasted unseasoned. I asked for Medium and I got Medium rare. My husband had the Seafood Ink Pasta and he also felt it was unsalted. The Wedge Salad was drenched with dressing. Needless to say were disappointed.
Fantastic seafood right on the ship with a great view of Long Beach. Our server Luke was incredibly attentive and a joy to chat with. The cocktails were perfect. Will definitely be returning.
