I was doing some plumbing there, and out of gratitude they offered us some lunch...man that food was so good. I had a burrito and a Mexican drink that was like purple...it was so good I'm working down the street again and am about to back, just wanted to take a second and write about how great thier food was.

THE TIME FOR LUCH IS SHORT AND I THINK THEY TAKE THAT IN CONSIDERATION, SO THEY COOK MY MEALS/ORDER THE QUICKEST POSSIBLE WITH NICE ACTITUD AND TREATS. I REALLY VALUE THERE HELP AND EFFORT....ETC .... CHEMAS, VERY HISTORICAL PLACE....THANKS CHEMAS FOOD 👍🏼 ✅🙏🏼🤗
It’s a bit ghetto around the area, but the place is 10/10 customer service and great food, specially for the price.
Best food in the hood location
I spent $23.74. I bought two combinations. One was a taco plate with bean and rice and the meat was chicken and then the other was the nachos and when I opened my food my wife’s tacos was horrible. The tacos was rundown. The meat was spoiled. It was nasty. It wasn’t fresh, the food representation all of the 10 being perfect it was a one been absolutely horrible. My nachos had a big long strand of white hair even a carne Sada was poor.
1st time at this establishment and I was surprised! The food is good and a great value.
Dinning area needs attention, every time I stop by there is homeless people in the eating area the employees don’t tell them to leave and the tables are never clean. The food is ok.

Just like all the Mom & Pop eateries around Long Beach now...WAY OVERPRICED! Went to buy menudo and they wanted $12.40 for maybe a decent sized bowl, which was served in a tall styrofoam cup. Bought a carne asada burrito instead which cost me a little over 11 bucks, can't really say it was big.. (medium) sized, as far as the taste, it was okay. It's all about maximizing profit and minimizing what the customer gets nowadays. And now everyone wants to charge $1.00 to use your debit or credit card now.
Best menudo in town since 90's or before😉🙌
Nastiest asada burrito ever.
