not bad! they have a lot of deals as well, like free egg roll with your meal from 2-6pm. i think my only issue is the price and portion. i've had the same meal with the same price but with twice the amount of food somewhere else. overall, i still recommend trying it. i definitely recommend the pork bbq!

Good food, generous portion sizes, and friendly service. I’ve been a fan of this place for over 20 years, since my college days. I live on the other side of the country now, but always make a point to drop in on my annual visits to California.

Pro tip: come right when they open to get the freshest ingredients. Best Chinese food I ever had in that case. Oh and they loaded up the boxes. Miss you guys lots. Been a few years.

I ordered a 2 protein plate with bbq pork and teriyaki chicken. I tried half noodles and half fried rice. First off the food was more than $5.00 more than the stated price because they upcharged both proteins and didn't specify it ahead of time, and usually in most Chinese establishments teriyaki chicken is standard fare not a upcharge item. The noodles and rice was acceptable but kinda bland. The bbq pork was tough and over cooked and the chicken I would rate a 7 out of 10. Everyone has different tastes but in my opinion it wasn't worth it and I probably wouldn't go back. Still looking for some good Chinese food 😋

Food is average for the price. I've had continuous problems with the staff level of service / professionalism.

I highly recommend not coming here. This place is a scam. On their menu they have one price but they charge you something else at the end. I ordered a three item combo of $14 but they ended charging me $18. How is it possible that from $14 it changes to $18. They tried to make stuff up by saying that they charge an extra dollar per item you order. Please people be careful these people are stealing, no where you go will they charge you extra per item in your combo. Go anywhere else but here, these people will steal your money and they are incredibly stingy with their food, they dont put anything in your plate.

Clean establishment, quality food, and courteous staff. I've been coming to China Star Express for over 25 years and don't plan on stopping anytime soon. In fact, even after moving to South Orange County in 2006, I still make the drive when I want real, fast, and delicious Chinese dishes.
My favorite is the Spicy Chicken but you literally can't go wrong with the BBQ Pork, Mushroom Chicken, Green Bean Chicken, Chicken Wings, Beef Broccoli... I can go on, but you get the point. Oh, my Wife and teenage kiddos LOVE their Boba drinks!
Do yourself a favor and give it a try.

Really disappointed with the orange chicken quality. Most of the orange chicken was breading and a few big pieces. The teriyaki jalapeño wings hands down has the best flavor. They serve you 70% rice and 30% chow mien.
My go-to is the barbecued pork with steamed rice. Been eating there since I was a kid always loved the quality and freshness.

Very good food
It's not much of a sit down place but the food makes up for that and the service makes up for that as well. Good food reasonable prices large portions
Always tons of food and really delicious too. Best American Chinese food that 10$ can buy.
I've had different dishes and they're all delicious. It's a small dining area there's about four tables but I think there's one or two outside
Parking: Just a small strip mall parking lot there's other restaurants in a 7-Eleven there

AMAZING chinese food place. plates of food are only 12ish bucks and they give you heaping portions, definitely a saving grace for broke college students (especially given it's location next to the university). Highly reccomend the mushroom chicken as well as the chow mein.
