Excellent Mexican food at a great price! This is a humble place with no frills, so I know I was in for an authentic mexican treat! I had individual tacos, and they were seasoned so well (especially the grilled fish!) with good portion sizing. I would go back for more had I stayed in town longer. Went with a group of friends, and they all also agreed this was a good find. Highly recommend!

Was charged for extra salsa (each little side) - $2. This is not disclosed when requesting.
When I asked how much each extra one was, I was not given a clear answer.

Good Mexican food shouldn't be expensive; this restaurant isn't. It's a wonderful bargain for food; quality Mexican classics. It's on Pacific Avenue in Downtown Long Beach, walking distance to the Civic Plaza, Billy Jean King Library and courthouse. The downside is that they only accept cash for payment, although there is an ATM inside. They make excellent tacos, burritos, tortas and tostadas. I haven't tried their soups yet.
