It was the last night before California mandated the closing of all restaurants for the second time. The limited staff were attentive and the food was still spot on. Everyone was happy with their food and drinks. The bar tender pulled double duty, waiting our table in the dining room. We were grateful. Nice job.
I just enjoyed their dishes. I always get excellent service there. The place is well organised and the staff members are always friendly. Will come back again.
Tri tip and fried Brussels sprout with pork belly. I loved it. I prepare white rice ahead and brought it over. So, i am happy to eat it with my rice. ???
Went for happy hour. Potato skins were very good. The house blonde was ok. My beer should be cold when I get it, not very cool/kinda cold-but-not-really. They had 1 poor girl as server for the entire bar. She was getting swamped just as I left, but she was doing a great job. Kudos to her.
I like this spot! They provide awesome food, their menu is large, The chief cook in that place is a specialist, I like a lot tasting all their dishes. The food is always fresh and tasty, the service towards the customers is nice. I often go to this place and I was never discontended. Highly recommended.
Ordinarily we love this place but this time around, only 4 stars. The waiter was clearly in over his head, busy Sunday morning. The salad bar was low on stuff & by the time it was refilled I was done. I'll definitely give it another shot but this time -a little disappointed
Was Visiting from Az and found Claim Jumpers close to hotel. There was 7 in our group. It was a Saturday evening and we were seated right away. Our server Yancy/Avocado was wonderful!!! He was attentive and friendly and made suggestions. We were all very pleased and I would definitely come back here. Thank you for GREAT-food GREAT service and a GREAT dining experience !!!
It was busy at 7:00 and not enough servers. Staff supervisor finally came over after 10 or 15 minutes and got our drinks started and ordered appetizers. Our server Chris, came over with our drinks and took our dinner order. Everything went smoothly from there. Poor Chris was all over the place and still managed to take care of all of our needs. He checked on us several times to make sure everything was good and cleared the table everytime of the dirty dishes not needed. Love it. Chris was upbeat, friendly and had a great attitude through all the craziness of where everyone wanted to be that night. I love Claim Jumper. Food is good...lots of variety. The cheesy bread is the best!! My only complaint was the slow service at the beginning...almost walked out but I'm glad I stayed.
Food was good but service was poor. No offers for drink refills and no offer for dessert. Twice the wrong meal was delivered to our table by a person other than our primary server. We asked for separate checks up front as we were two obviously hetero couples but when the bill came he mixed up the separation with the girls on one bill and the guys on another. He seemed genuinely confused as to why we were questioning the split and then proceeded to mess it up a second time. This was an experienced veteran server who has been on the job for several years. It just got awkward.
Food was delicious as usual. However, service was surprisingly NOT great. Server was not friendly or attentive and didn't seem to want to serve our table of 3 any longer. The server didn't even tell us anything and pawned us off to another server, who at least was more friendly and courteous.

Today at 5 pm I came to revisit a place I haven't been to in years. The place has changed alot . the service is still great . Matthew was an awesome server, nice and friendly. The problem was the food the chicken was dry an cold . The ribs tasted bad . the coconut shrimp where cold an dry. Matt was very apologetic however, the manager didn't even come to our table to apologize for the poor food himself.I wouldn't even that food to a homeless person
Best manager. Best night cap drink!
This is a place that you can't go wrong with. It is NOT the Claim Jumper of the past. Definitely NOT a Nickoloff version of itself anymore, but there are still some really great servers there and they have some very tasty and high quality items on the menu. Unfortunately Helen Grace hot Fudge and Ice Cream are not on their menu any longer! But they Widow-maker burger is killer!
As usual the customer service was awesome. Our waitress was able to handle a party of over 20 while still being attentive to us. However, the Sunday brunch wasn't as good as it used to be. There wasn't any ribs or quiche like there used to be and the response time to refill items was very slow. My waffles were cold and the chafing dish they came out of was barely luke warm. I don't eat my food hot but I would want my waffles to be warm not cold like they were the pre made frozen kind. The bowl for sour cream was empty for an hour. I asked my waitress for sour cream and she was on it immediately.
Great food, large portions, and friendly servers. A bit on the pricey side, but the quality is there.
