WE ORDERED EGG'S OVER MEDIUM & GOT HARD EGG'S ! THE SERVICE WAS OKAY, BUT WE DIDN'T GET ANY REFILLS ON OUR COFFEE š THEY TAKE CREDIT CARDS NOW ! PARKING IS REALLY HARD TO FIND ON THE NEIGHBORHOOD STREETS !
Good local breakfast spotā¦early 7-9 Breakfast specialā¦I enjoyed pancakes, eggs and bacon⦠good food and great service.
My partner and I were talking a stroll down our new neighborhood, and quite literally SMELLED the delicious food before seeing this place. It was almost cartoon-like the way we just followed our feet toward the warm buttery smell of a local diner.
We probably got lucky since it was just two of us and spots were available at the counter right when we got in!
We sat down, and were greeted right away with a smile and a fresh pot of coffee. Menu is extensive for such a cozy spot! Health is also highlighted in their menu..plenty of options to enhance the menu to your needs. My partner got the turkey omelette sub egg whites, and I got the French toast combo w/ a side of potatoes (10/10).
The atmosphere is amazing, and we love businesses that highlight artists as well (you can scan under some of the art displayed to learn more).
Service is friendly and efficient.
When you walk-in, you get a sense that youāve been there before. And thatās a very comforting feeling for a first timer (:
Food is portioned. I've had a heftier plate elsewhere. The food is okay. The pancakes are okay, not the fluffiest.
They're charging .50 per egg based on the plate you've ordered so for example, I ordered the French Toast combo & it comes with 2 eggs & 2 Sausages or bacon. They charged an extra $1. They say it's due to the increasing price of eggs.
Went when it was busy, was sat right away, but only got a refill on my coffee once-which was when I was already done with my food. Waiter passed by us so many times, but never checked in on us until we were done with our food.
I'd say go spend $60 for two elsewhere, where the service is a tad better & food is much tastier-but that's just me š¤·āāļø
Oh! They have 3 restrooms, which is a plus for when it gets packed
Nice friendly place with good service. They sever vanilla coffee regularly. āļø had the ABC omelet and it was good. Parking is difficult.
Great place for breakfast. I'm vacationing from out of town and I eat here every morning. The waitress, Cameron, is awesome too.
Super potatos with 1 egg, 2 sausage, 2 toast, a side of hollandaise sauce and a cup of coffeeā¦. $40!!!!????!!?
My personal favorite breakfast place in Long Beach Part of me didn't think they needed my yelp review since they do so well and there's a line outside on weekends lot of the time. The photo is a veggie scramble, which was delicious if you want to avoid some meat. Speaking of meat, I love her corn, beef, hash, and eggs, Old-school diner style corned beef hash. I enjoy their black coffee, they use "Boyds" if you're familiar with Boyds, it's pretty good . They serve lunch as well, but I don't think I've ever ordered lunch because I love breakfast and they do breakfast so well. Also, they have three different salsas to choose from that they make in the house which our absolutely delicious. You really can't go wrong with coming here for breakfast or bringing out of towners to show off a good breakfast place. Check them out. See what you think

Long Beach Staple, if you know, you know. Been here many times, the food is absolutely great, and the staff is awesome! For many years it was cash only, we kind of fell off because it was just a hassle if you didn't have cash on you, which i usually don't. Went on Sunday, found out there are a few positive changes, they now accept cards, no more cash hassle. Also, they have new owners..they made positive changes and the food quality was not affected!
The original owners still have their HB location.

The Coffee Cupe Cafe is just 2 short blocks from our daughters house. We split the Veggie Omelette with Bacon and it was awesome!

I love this place! Itās a great breakfast spot. The service here is always great. Super attentive staff. They are all so helpful and work great together as a team. I thought the busser was my server because his service skills were that great. I always get the chicken chili verde omelette because I LOVE chili verde but I donāt like pork so finding a chicken chili verde was very exciting. Itās delicious. This place also has sentimental value as I remember coming here with my mom as a kid when it was The Honey Bucket.

Small cafe in the area that is cash only and old school. Iāve been here on multiple occasions and itās always a good standard breakfast place. The food is solid and has great prices. The thrills and tricks of brunch spots can always be fun, but if you are looking for a solid breakfast place and have some cash on you then youāre in luck. My recommendation is the pancake plate- sometimes chocolate chip pancakes are needed for adulting.
