The San Pedro location, unfortunately, wasn’t accepting online orders, so I made the trek to the Long Beach location. Thankfully, this location was accepting online orders, sparing me a 6 a.m. pastry pilgrimage. I scheduled a 12:45 p.m. pickup but didn’t arrive until 1:45 p.m., so I won’t fault the pastries if they weren’t piping hot.

The staff here is AMAZING. The coffee is perfect everytime. The bread and all of the breakfast meals are incredible. They are expanding so hopefully they will have a sit down area soon. Bree and Leah and THE BEST!!!

They’re expensive because the tip used to be included in the price. I enjoyed that aspect since tipping expectations have gotten out of control everywhere else. But recently, they added a tip screen ON TOP OF the already high prices, and they also removed the sign that said tips were pre-built into the price.
They did not replace it with any signs explaining why this change. Now it just seems like a money grab, when money is already tight enough as it is for everyone.
