Been here a few times now and easily my favorite coffee shop in Long Beach. Great drinks and super comfy atmosphere.

tl;Dr Cold brew was only thing I tried, I didn't like it. They're sweet drinks seem to be the best option. Great spot to spend some time and vibe tho. give it a shot.
It's so cute! Love the vibes, love the atmosphere, the clientele is also passing the vibe test. I got a cold brew, it wasn't my favorite if I'm being honest but it's the only thing I tried. They're sweet coffees I think are going to be where it's at, but I'm trying to cut back, I'll be back to try it but yeah the cold brew was not it for me.

I love every visit at Confidential Coffee! They are dog friendly and have a variety of dog treat options!! Their Horchata Cold Brew is my favorite! The baristas are so friendly and kind. They are the best local coffee shop to sit and do work or chat with friends. They have such cute seating areas with games, books, and plants for sale.

I tried the rompope latte here and wow, it’s sooo good! It has that authentic Mexican rompope aftertaste that makes it feel really special. The ambience is such a vibe! Super cozy, welcoming, and perfect whether you’re hanging out or getting some studying done. They even have card games to play and a printer you can use if you need it, which is such a thoughtful touch. I absolutely love this place and will definitely be coming back!

I frequent this place because it's really comfy and perfect for study. It's LGBTQ+ friendly with their being weekly events and delicious coffee drinks particularly their most popular cajeta latte (iced or hot). And Id like to particularly compliment their pristine bathroom. It's beautifully decorated and comes with helpful amenities unlike any other bathroom I've seen.

It's my first time here because I was awarded a gift card from a group.
I had a great first impression when I ordered, but it went south from there.
When one of our drinks came, I realized I made a mistake and forgot to change the milk. I asked the tall, young lady what kind of milk was in the drink, and she said it was whole milk. I said I'm lactose intolerant and won't be able to drink it, and she just said sorry to me.
It's a bummer that I wasn't offered a redo of my order to help me out. Other coffee houses are more than happy to offer to fix the drink.
I ended up giving the drink back and leaving.
We drove out from Irvine to try this coffee shop out, and it's sad to say that I cannot recommend this place to others based on poor service.

After a really disappointing latte at a nearby coffee shop, I came here and ordered their signature drink - and it was exactly what I needed. Smooth, creamy, and perfectly balanced in flavor. The latte art wasn’t just decoration - it was crafted by someone who clearly loves coffee. You could taste the care in every sip.
The atmosphere was welcoming, with a unique design that gave off a cozy library or old-school classroom vibe. It felt real, not over-styled, just authentic and comfortable.
Only one downside: there’s a $1 extra charge for plant-based milk. That felt unnecessary, since it’s just a replacement, not an upgrade. Still, the experience made up for it. I left grateful and satisfied.

Amazing drinks, immaculate vibes. Had the Confidential Iced Tea and Horchata Cold Brew, both winners. Place is very thoughtfully laid out, lots of love in the details ❤️ Coming back for sure

I had the worst iced chai I’ve ever had here. I couldn’t even drink more than a few sips.

I really like confidential coffee and I encourage others to support it. I visited for the first time while taking a weekend trip to Long Beach in August 2024. Coming in was one of the highlights of my visit. I enjoyed the coffee drinks and really appreciated the atmosphere of the cafe. I had the cajeta latte and came back the next day for an Americano. Both were really good. I returned to Confidental Coffee the following January while fleeing the Los Angeles fires. It was comforting to be able to return to a familiar place during such an uncertain time. I stayed in the cafe for several hours while waiting to check in to my AirBnB, and the staff never made an issue about my extended presence (I made sure to buy things periodically). This is a real Long Beach gem; I recommend it to visitors and locals alike.

Cozy vibes and yummy drinks! There’s clearly a lot of love put into everything they do (the barista working at the time talked about how hard they had worked to perfect their chai recipe) and they are definitely a community staple. I’ll be coming back for sure!
